@ZenMasterMike Nothing wrong with cautious optimism here, and he’ll get the chance right away to prove himself. It’s a crucial offseason that he has to stick. Maybe it being such an out of character Bulls hire is a good thing too

I like how bold Atlanta has been as of late although I didn’t love the Trae Young trade at the time. But they have great talent including the reigning MIP. You can be excited or disappointed about the Bryson Graham hire tbh but it’s just all how you choose to frame it.
Nick Phillips@NickFromGE

@ZenMasterMike Also surface level: hate that they went with a guy who spent the vast majority of his career in one of the few franchises I consider worse run than the Bulls have been the last decade. Maybe he eventually proves he’s the right call but why should I be excited at the hire?

@mkhoops2 Perhaps true, but that’s a small comfort for skeptical Bulls fans. And the point remains he’s never been around a winning organization. Wait and see is the only approach to take; to me this reads like the Dorfs relying 1,000% on the search firm where Graham had close ties.

The people mad about this seems to be so because he spent time in New Orleans, among other reasons. You guys, the Pelicans aren't a terrible franchise because the caliber of the people. They don't control their entire destiny. Might be the worst ownership in all of sports.

I don’t understand how you can be mad/frustrated about the Bulls hiring Graham. Reality is none of these guys (except Lindsey) have ran a team, so who knows if they’re good or bad. This applies to Lloyd, Graham and others. Let’s see what they do in the job.

This wasn’t a situation where Lloyd turned down the Bulls or anything like that, from what we’ve heard. They chose Graham. Just in case people are wondering.

@JCowleyHoops How much of it was Stevens wanting him and how much was ownership telling him to get under the tax? Basketball wise it just doesn’t feel like a Stevens move traditionally

@HonoraBarrett @TonyMacaroni22 @afneil @POTUS Russia did far more than America did; engaged and destroyed way more of the German war machine. That’s why everyone thinks FDR lost at Yalta; he was negotiating from weakness since Russsia fought the war basically solo on the continent until late summer 1944.

Good luck continuing to wage your war against Iran without your German bases. Well nigh impossible. US troops aren’t in Germany to protect Germans. They’ve been there to project US power. Bye bye.
Nick Sortor@nicksortor

🚨 JUST IN: President Trump says the US will be withdrawing "A LOT" more troops from Germany than the 5,000 announced yesterday FINALLY. Bring our troops home! We don't need NATO — NATO needs US! "We're going to cut WAY down and we're cutting a lot further than 5,000" 🇺🇸

@BeanerOfSnow I’ll go ahead and trust Costco’s pricing strategy over your “analysis.” Whatever extra losses they think they’ll incur they think they can make up. They’ve been right far more often than not the last 40 years.

@J_Talks_Hoops On draft night, I’d do Jalen Smith for Cam Johnson and 26 or something along those lines. Rather than overpay in the Watson RFA extravaganza

@ClistonBrown And Van Buren was Sec State before that, which back then basically was the training job for President. You ever hear the story about the 2 brothers? One went to sea, one became VP. Neither were ever heard from again. -VP Bob Russell

@SpyHards What does it offer besides a ridiculous energy Mcguffin plot, a bottom 3 Bond girl, and a complete waste of the best on paper villain maybe for the whole franchise? I guess we get a Sgt Pepper car chase and Nick Nack fighting Moore on a Chinese junk 🙄

THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN saw Roger Moore return as #JamesBond in 1974… and while it’s rarely a fan favourite, we say it has more to offer than it gets credit for. But what do you think, was Moore’s second outing a success? Hear more: pod.fo/e/2ce03b

@J_Talks_Hoops More like 3 off-seasons, unless they jump in this draft and hit on both picks. Outside of Matas (and even he’s not untouchable) I expect a complete 2-15 flip of the roster. And it should take that long, repeating AK’s desperate rush back to the middle would be a catastrophe

Hiring these 2 will be a major step in the right direction, but I want to stress PATIENCE to Bulls fans It’s going to take Lloyd atleast 2 offseasons to turn this roster over and bring in the type of players to maximize Nori’s system
NBA Base@TheNBABase

Minnesota Timberwolves GM Matt Lloyd is considered the frontrunner for the lead executive role with the Chicago Bulls, per @MikeAScotto If Lloyd is hired, Timberwolves lead assistant Micah Nori is expected to be a top candidate for the Bulls' head coaching position.

@Doug_Thonus I didn’t know the 3 stooges were the ones rigging it. Is the crux of your multi-million dollar scheme really sneaking a ping pong ball back in your pocket in front of ~50 people? Without an auditor cooperating you’re not sneaking it in there in the 1st place anyway.

@NickFromGE Are you really asking if it easier to rig one ball out of 39 or a combination of 6 balls out of 1000 when you can remove the rigged ball after it is pulled but can't remove any of the 1000 balls?

Random other side note, if the new lottery is taken literally and they are moving to 39 total lottery balls instead of combinations of over 1000 balls, it will be trivial to rig it compared to the old system. I have never believed the old system was rigged, nor do I think they will rig this, but conspiracy theories will at least be plausible now

The US deficit is now $39 trillion dollars. But the US population is also huge, 349,000,000 people. So if they all paid $112 then the deficit would be paid off. Why aren't they doing this??
