@dalesamsWx @Chris_WardWX @NWSKansasCity Is the KC areas day over? Or do we still have to wait for a secondary line
English

@Chris_WardWX @NWSKansasCity There are zones in every county. The only sirens that go off are where rotation/or tornado is and path. This is done because you don't want to flip a zone nowhere close to circulation or tornado.

@NWSKansasCity tornado sirens in Jackson County did not go off

@jack_7909 @WIWXGirl I think that line posed a bit of a severe threat at the time so they just threw a watch out. I think now is the time a tornado watch is incoming.

The storm did NOT appreciate @AaronRigsbyOSC's insult lmaoo. The tornado was cool but this random little CG barrage was definitely my favorite part of yesterdays chase.

@Hayden2002WX @OriginWx @NBCNews I do. What’s your point? So far verification hasn’t been terribly off, would they to be out there and operational? Yeah sure. But so far that day is the only day that has screwed up, even leading up to it we were in a risk. Stuff happens man it isn’t always political

The National Weather Service’s Storm Prediction Center did not anticipate a tornado threat for the Kansas City area, prompting concerns among some that ongoing changes to staffing and weather balloon releases at the NWS might be leaving forecasters in the dark about threats. nbcnews.com/weather/tornad…

Will def be out tomorrow on this threat. I'll make announcements on all platforms when we are getting ready to go live. #kswx

@devinremikerwi @SarahforWI Thank god you don’t get paid to think lol. I’m sure you know a lot about politics, so until you do more research man stay in your lane, it’ll help prevent misinformation and misleading post like this.
English

I know this isn’t a good faith argument, but @SarahforWI is 100% correct.
We should actually be talking more about preparing Wisconsin for extreme weather events!
Warming of the Gulf of Mexico and the Arctic jet stream dipping lower is causing the instability from those forces meeting that spawns tornado-producing supercells to shift eastward, and the increased humidity in the states it is moving to compared to the drought-stricken Great Plains means more moisture for them to feed off of, creating larger hail. Illinois even set a hail size record earlier this year!

Wisconsin's Democrat Secretary of State thinks hail is evidence of climate change. The party of science, ladies and gentlemen!

Yes, DOGE cuts are bad and increase the chance of missing a forecast. But can you prove causation in this case as in the Miss was due to lack of data or staffing? Ehhhh
It was honestly a really tricky forecast dependent on if the cap would break. Some models did have that.

I’m convinced most left wing and right wing extremists have mental health issues…

Hail is not normal? Hail is proof of climate change? @SarahforWI is off her rocker.

(1/2): Meso obs over eastern KS/western MO show atmosphere recovery taking place with cape values 3500 J/kg and decent Theta-E values. A few intense supercells may form along/east I-35 corridor by 20-21z. (2/2)

@dalesamsWx @NWSSPC Hey Dale what do you think the odds are of this coming true? Also what’s your current thoughts on Friday?
