BREAKING🚨
Leicester City are making one last - and lucrative - bid to make Russell Martin their new boss.
Leicester hope a handsome contract and long term deal will swing it their way as Martin considers his options.

So according to League One rules, owner investment is classed as turnover... and you can spend 60% of turnover on wages.
So if Top puts in £9.1m, we can pay Ayew & Daka wages and still have £3.6m to piss away on Seagrave running costs! #LCFC

English

@steveraff65 @arlowhite Steve, do you think we can afford to pay a player £90k a week in League one?
English

Who will be our Nigel Pearson this time? I wouldn’t swap a thing from the glory years but the fact that the architects of this implosion are still in jobs is scandalous,
Relegations in last 4 yrs: 3
Jon Rudkin promotions: 1
Bringing on Harry Winks tonight was a disgrace #lcfc
English

@MrTrickyTree @JPercyTelegraph Leicester are looking to sell Belvoir Drive and move the women’s team to Seagrave.
English

@JPercyTelegraph Forest need to buy their training ground off them for as little as possible. Leicester desperate for money and Forest only potential realistic buyers in the area.
English

#lcfc winning the league was a miracle and should be remembered as such.
Announcing this the night before the club could be relegated (for the 3rd time in 4 seasons) when they are arguably at their lowest point in their history is really odd

We'll mark the 10-year anniversary of our 2016 Premier League title with a charity match to raise funds through the Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation 🏆

@1894LC @Bobby_Brown43 @_callumfowler That was his PL wage. All the players had hefty relegation cuts when we went down last season and all have further clauses for this season.
English

@Bobby_Brown43 @_callumfowler He’s on less than half that now. Why would they more than double his salary in the event of relegation?
English

@_callumfowler They never put any relegation clauses in Winks contract, so £90,000 a week for him to play Burton away, may be just a tad unsustainable.
English

I have broadly the same 2 year loss for 22/23 and 23/24 (would need to check but presume those are out of the P&S case) BUT the issue is I don’t think there is anyway they are close to a PSR loss of £25.3m. That would have to have £45m of allowable deductions which is impossible. In other words, that is perhaps, a tacit admission they have also breached 24/25

English

Some odd comments about PSR/P&S in these accounts. On the face of it, Leicester City failed 24/25 Premier League PSR by about £20m 🤷♂️

Our financial statements for the year ended 30 June 2025 have been published today. Read more: bit.ly/3Q3Vm6F

Surely people aren't saying that was a "good point"....
Its hilarious. We're going down and you're happy with a point against bloody Watford?

@LCFC_1884_OK @lcfcara Why will it upset them that he’s been picked for the England Under 21 squad?
English

@lcfcara Ooooo this will upset the Ben Nelson is amazing fan club. Apparently he’s not had a bad game all season and has been our best defender 😬

Nick Loney retweetledi

@XtraLeicester @lcfc_broski He did have a relegation clause and his salary is nowhere near £90k per week.
English

@lcfc_broski The club probably didn’t include one in his contract with them aiming upwards
English

@Elm_665 @BlueTintedLCFC You just wait—we’ll be well clear before the final day 😉
English

@KieranMaguire @martynziegler Ah—thanks. There is a bit of confusion as some Leicester fans have the impression the PL already confirmed we did not breach for 2022-25, but it seems not…
English

@NickLoney @martynziegler Hi Nick, the three years ending 30 June 2025. Don't think the EFL will do anything until the Leicester appeal against the Premier League is heard. It may conclude that PL cannot charge a club which was in the EFL and vice versa (although that is unlikely).
English

All 20 Premier League clubs avoid points deductions (some with help of their women's team) for PSR purposes in 2024/25 per @martynziegler thetimes.com/article/0c0fa8…

English

@nerdwmn4life @BarryPierce Madding Crowd is a phenomenal novel. Unfortunately Hardy had completely lost it by the time he wrote Jude. It’s sad but it happens.
English

@BarryPierce I'm reading Mayor of Casterbridge now, and then Far from the Madding Crowd. I had to stop reading Jude the Obscure because it felt so depressing. Is the Madding Crowd depressing?
English

@MarkgLcfc Yes, it doesn’t mean we will get a point deduction for every single charge, we could get a hefty fine instead.
Put chances are we get around 9 to 12
English

Do 3 separate PSR charges equate to 3 separate points deductions?🤔
Up the city & all that
