POPPED INTO @CliffordBrewing TODAY ON MY WAY HOME. Brad said he would love to see a bunch of us again. I'm thinking end of May-ish so we can hit the patio? A Saturday or Sunday. What say you, Glenn, David, Greg, Polk, Kat, Kim, Paulie, Rob and really anyone in the area? 1/2
@BlueJays So glad we spend money towards guys that arent doing anything offensively. Bichette, santander and vladdy having 1 hr combined is not ideal..
LEAFS VS FLYERS 1ST PERIOD BEER! I feel like we just played these guys. 😉 Okay, ALL dark beers tonight, all different styles! Let's have some fun, starting with the @matronfinebeer Muff Dark Bier. Just 4.5%, this is beautifully smoky, roasty malts and coffee. Beauty! GO LEAFS!
Were back! First beer post in a few years. Drinking a @woodhousebeer non alcoholic IPA. A bit lighter in colour than other non alcoholic IPAs. Citrus, slight bitter finish. Tastes sweeter than expected. Overall pretty light flavour. Decent! 7/10
Havent posted in a while as I stopped drinking sour beer, and now stopped drinking altogether. I started drinking non alcoholic beer and thought it would be a good idea to show the non alcoholic beer that Ontario as to offer. So from now I am NickTheSoberGuy. Cheers!
Hi @BeerStoreDude Tembo here …
Played Golf today at NMSU and one of the Golfers who claims he’s from Toronto knows you … I asked who’s BeerStoreDude and he said, “Don.”
Do you know a left handed golfer by the name of “Nick?”
Really thinking of Kevin Hayes today.
In August of 2021 his brother Jimmy passed away. And now in August of 2024 one of his best friends Johnny Gaudreau was tragically killed while biking.
Much love to Kevin.
THINGS ARE GETTING SOUR IN HERE! For my young bud Nick, Brewmaster James at @DecewBrew has made his first sour - the 3.7% Blackberry Sour. Very nice! Fruit's there, sourness is moderate but there's a smoothness to it that makes me think he used oat malts. I'll ask him. Tasty! 👍
@glennhendry@BeerStoreDude Dang. Makes sense. I hope its not atleast a money issue. Would suck to see good people in the beer industry struggle financially
@NickTheSourGuy@BeerStoreDude Different reasons for all three but at the end of the day some very good brewers are going to be hanging up their mash paddles, possibly for good
