Kevyn Adams tried to warn us the entire time... The Sabres are having their best season in forever and have an opportunity to make a playoff run but are still having issues convincing players to come to Buffalo. In the long run, they'll be fine but it's hard to build this way.

I don’t really get why the fanbase is so split on this. Parayko makes you better now. And probably the following 2 seasons. If you’ve been following me for a while, I’m very high on Mrtka. But we also might not see him full time in Buffalo for 2-3 seasons. The 1st round pick is probably in the 20s at best, another player you might not see for 2-4 years, if at all. Take the swing now. Be the deepest, biggest blue line in the league. We all lived through the 2005-2006 ECF. Down to 2 NHL defenseman in a Game 7. You make this move, you’re one of the hardest teams to play against in the league and I don’t think it’s remotely debatable
