If we left the ECHR what rights do you want to lose? If none, why leave? If you want to give less rights to a particular group of people why do you think they are less human than you? If you still want to leave you are no different to those that led to the creation of the ECHR.

@Dallocles Didn’t we break a heat record from 80 years ago? So if it was that hot 80 years ago then climate change is bull shit. We use dark red for heat on our heat maps for 29 degrees lol. I don’t find it humid at all in England.

Fucks sake i'm sick of UK weather discourse let this be the first and last I speak on it. I've lived in the UK and Utah, which is a very dry heat. The UK is worse, despite being lower. Why? We're an island, it's very humid, it's like trying to breathe through a damp towel. 1/2

Reform UK have announced a plan to make overtime tax-exempt. I'm sceptical this makes sense - more soon. But an interesting question: if you were the Chancellor, and you were making a £5bn tax cut... what tax would you cut? What would have the maximum positive impact?

Some Facts: Over 50% of tenants rent from a private landlord. The Government cannot afford to buy/build that number of homes. Some people will never be able to, or want to, buy their home. If you attack landlords you will reduce the number of homes available to rent.

@HomeoftheM @HarrietCross_MP @thomaspower As a net importer of gas the price that BP charges is based upon what other oil companies charge. This is the open market price. There is not enough gas left in the North Sea for us to become a net exporter (which could lower prices) so we are pegged to the open market price

You don’t buy directly from BP or have a direct connection to the Forties oil field. BP has to paid for extraction etc

@HomeoftheM @HarrietCross_MP @thomaspower It is landed on the UK coast by the private companies who extracted it and they sell it on the open market. From which the energy companies (ie British Gas, Octopus etc) buy it and sell it to us. It’s clear you don’t know how global markets work

This is a lie. Gas in Britain currently costs 124.46p per therm. In the USA it currently costs 25p per therm. Electricity prices are not "set by global gas rates" because THERE ARE NO GLOBAL GAS RATES. Labour are just lying to you because they think you're too stupid to check it yourself.

Am not sure that stonewalling will work, for as long as there is no plausible explanation as to how Farage came by that £1.4m. The secret Harbone donation, the Nathan Gill Russian bribery conviction - all point to need for more transparency than Farage has so far given.
