The Times: 'Ministers are preparing a “major” bill, expected to be presented to parliament as soon as next month that will allow the EU to effectively alter British law in areas such as food standards, animal welfare and pesticide use.' 😱 If Labour MPs are finding running the UK is too hard for them, they should resign and have a by-election. Instead they want to give their power to the EU before the May elections. If your MP supports this Bill tell them to resign. We don't need two governments. We can't afford two governments. The EU wants the UK to PAY to let the EU make UK food standards and agricultural rules. EU food standards and animal welfare standards are LOWER than the UK's. EU atitude to agricultural methods and pesticide regulations are stuck in the dark ages. Only a foolish MP would agree to this so that the UK's largest supermarkets can save a tiny amount of money importing lower quality food from the EU. Did the supermarkets bribe MPs to do this? If not, why are MPs doing this? Right now, imported food has to meet UK standards. If this bill is passed the EU will set UK food standards so we won't be able to block even the lowest quality and lowest standard EU food.
