I deleted X off my phone a few weeks ago and I just use it on my laptop when I have consciously decided and emotionally prepared myself to engage with the unwashed masses.
The result has been an increase in JOY in my life. The cursed app will be staying off my phone.

70 years of marriage for my parents. Eleven children, 68 grandchildren, 109 great grandchildren with 11 on the way. One of the grandsons is a priest and celebrated a Mass for them while other grandsons served. A schola by great granchildren. We filled the church. Blessed!!!

@madetopray4 @TaylorRMarshall You'd be surprised how close our family is. My parents have children, grands and/or greats visit them daily. We spend lots of time together.

Question to those who live in families of that size:
Can you even have a close relationship with all of your siblings, kids, grandkids and so on?
Don't get me wrong, I think it's beautiful to have such a huge family. But in my imagination this has to mean that your relationships to your family members are different compared to the relationships in smaller families.

@skdbama @TaylorRMarshall 10 of us siblings had children so the average is 6.8. And a little over half of the grandchildren are married and many just started their families.

@TaylorRMarshall The sad part is that you can witness the declining birthrate in this one family alone.
Parents -> 11 kids
Children -> 6.1 kids per child
Grandchildren -> 1.7 kids per grandchild (only slightly above the current birthrate of 1.63)

@Nicole183299 This is fantastic. I had 7 uncles & 7 aunts, and 22 first cousins (16 on my dad’s side and 6 on my mom’s side) and I thought that was a big family. This is very cool. I was curious, where is this church? It’s beautiful. Where does your nephew serve as a priest?
