@DrNeilStone As someone with autism, I find the antivax claims offensive because they treat our existence as a "tragedy" or a "side effect" to be feared. Suggesting that vaccines induce a neurological difference is both scientifically illiterate and deeply dehumanising.

People who continue claim vaccines cause autism don't give a damn about autism They hate vaccines if you really want to find out what is causing autism then focus your energies on that rather than waste time energy and resource on the wrong target

Lucky has passed away. She reached the age of 20 years and nine months. I adopted her when I was 13, and I will be 34 in two days. This is the last picture of her ever taken.

Plan B public health measures end tomorrow; but they shouldn’t. This is a political move by the government🚨 Lots of people are still vulnerable to COVID-19, and those people matter💙 Let’s send the government a message. RT if you’ll continue to wear masks 👍 #WearAMask 😷

Removing mask mandates is a political move by Boris Johnson. If you’ll continue to wear one, RT. Let’s send him a message. 😷💙

@NeilFlochMD "When we fed mice without the PANX3 gene a high-fat diet, the differences in body weight were gone," Wakefield said. "Diet is always really going to matter."

@Nutradvance People who make poor dietary choices are often blamed for having a "lack of personal responsibility". I believe that blame is aimed at the victims rather than the perpetrators. mobile.twitter.com/NigelKinbrum/s…

@BrownAdey @MattHancock How are people going to make healthy food & drink choices, when the food product industry uses psychological marketing methods to influence them into unknowingly making unhealthy food & drink choices? twitter.com/NigelKinbrum/s…

I'll say the biggest mistake is the (popular) desire to blame things Truth: 1) Almost everything can be "good" or "bad" or "neutral" depending on the overall diet 2) Informed decisions + overall dietary pattern ✔️ 3) Fear, hype, and developing emotional beliefs about foods ❌
James DiNicolantonio@drjamesdinic

The modern mistakes of nutrition 1.Blaming salt for what sugar did 2.Blaming fat for what sugar did 3.Blaming butter for what margarine did 4.Blaming cholesterol for what inflammation did 5.Blaming eggs for what toast did 6.Blaming bacon for what cereal did

Based on those figures, it would seem it is for 1 in 5000 aged 20 to 49 and 1 in 17 aged over 70. Those are rather significant risks for something that spreads so easily.

@gfj1979 Right…. So what’s the solution? Legislation to remove these foods from the environment? That’s the only thing I can think of

Low carb diets have been around for years yet obesity continues to worsen. “It’s because people actually have to follow them!” Same can be said for any dietary pattern lower in energy. Low carb diets will not solve the obesity epidemic.

@angryhacademic This is odd. I could see there was 1 reply to my above tweet, but I couldn't see the reply unless I opened my tweet in a logged-out window. I then had to search through your replies in order to like it & reply to it. 😬
