A couple of weeks ago I posted the Sora 2 version of Onryo's Gate scene 1, here it is the "final" version, fully made with Kling 3.0 and O3. Incredible they have picked scenes from it for their showcase @Kling_ai

Truly blown away by a new AI image model launching this week ✨ Finally, you can generate photos that actually look like you! It's so much better than everything I've tried - from LoRAs to NB Pro. Onboarding some early testers. DM or comment if you want access 👀

More UNI-1 vs MJ8 tests. Here is an example of seed rerolls. Going to share some more stylized / NPR stuff as well.

“What @YouTube did for distribution, AI is doing for production.” That’s the shift. This @Bloomberg article breaks down what it actually means, from access and scale, to entirely new models of creation and ownership. So great to see @JustinHackney33 and Wonder Studios featured in the conversation. This is just the beginning. Read the full article here → bloomberg.com/opinion/articl… By @parmy

@AIWarper I usually use 3x3 grid with binded elements, combined with a single prompt with time stamp. works well for me

Any Kling 3.0 multi shot experts reading this? Curious of best practices and are you just using start and end frame only? Any using “elements” or “reference images”?

Whoa! @mxvdxn may have just relayed the key to genning realistic character images in Seedance 2.0. I need to test this immediately. Thank you brother!
DAN@mxvdxn

Just for context, previously when I used character sheets on Seedance 2.0, it usually failed. But then I found a way to do it. Credits goes to my bro @UrbanAcolyte since he's the one who told me how to do it. Basically, use character sheets that don’t have a close-up image of the face. In this case, I just use a three-view (front, side, back) in full figure. Ever since then, it’s been smooth sailing. I don’t know. I assume that placing it that way makes it detect more like a 3D render instead of a real human. I’m just guessing lol. But anyway, here’s the prompt I use in Nano Banana 2. Photorealism, character sheet, three-view (front, side, back), full figure, white background, [add your description here]. x.com/UrbanAcolyte/s…

I don’t get this obsession in AI video space to claim that something would have cost hundreds of millions of dollars to make. I get that VFX is expensive. But at a minimum people are ignoring the cost that goes into great writing. I’m sorry to all my friends in AI video but I watch a LOT of television and film on a weekly basis. And I can confidently say that even the best in AI video is still not touching the level of writing we see in popular television shows or films. Nothing in AI video is touching anything in the nominated lists of Emmys or Oscars let alone the winners of these esteemed awards shows. We need to humble ourselves. So please, spare us the hundred million dollar boasts. I’m incredibly frustrated with this because this narrative is incredibly disrespectful to the cinematic arts that I love and hurts the conversation of bringing AI video forward into the light into a healthy dialogue. It’s so transparently incendiary and not at all additive to the moment. I love AI video, cinema, arts, etc and think it deserves a chance. I also think traditional arts, Hollywood, etc. are incredible and have produced some of the best and meaningful storytelling humanity has ever seen. Respect needs to go both ways. It’s unfortunate so many are anti-AI and fail to see the value of it. They fail to see how empowering and fun it can be. But also, if you’re saying Hollywood is done because AI is here, it belies a fundamental arrogance in you and a disrespect for craft and the hard work of understanding emotional tapestry.

You are absolutely right that there is no point in 'poisoning' yourself with anger or having a bad time. Peace of mind comes first. But I do think we should call out those who blatantly take advantage. This days, i'm seeing many accounts literally stealing content from Japanese creators using seedance 2 and claiming the method as their own. That's no longer inspiration, it's just shameful

@impaulxyz agreed it cost nothing, and it certainly would have been appreciated, but the options remain being upset and annoyed or just saying, well, I hope it helped someone at least, I prefer the later, but I still support who are in the ugly zone for those reasons!

@NigelWatsonTFTC I understand your perspective and it's very mature, but my stance is that it costs absolutely nothing to mention the person who is inspiring you. Especially when it comes to a novel process. Sharing is essential, but giving credit is the bare minimum

@henrydaubrez I know well but there is much more that you can do with grids... like chaining 3x3 grids, or adding spatial references to grids... and sometimes you have to reroll and mix and match the grids to make the best one... (example not perfect but gives an idea of what im talking about)

@NigelWatsonTFTC It’s not enough. The grids, I think I was one of the first if not first ( check bio ) to use it and as good as the model is, spatial consistency comes loose

Spent about $1000 in credits on Seedance 2.0 over the last few weeks, and here are a few thoughts: First, the main thing that strikes me using a state-of-the-art model from this new generation is how hard it still is to scale beyond short form. Getting great animation is fast. Getting multi-cut sequences that make sense is possible. Consistency with Omnireference is actually very good. But the moment you move into real narrative work, things change. Multi-character exchanges, long sequences, maintaining visual continuity across shots, keeping tone, pacing, and staging consistent… it’s not impossible, but it is still a lot of work. And with generation costing somewhere between $2 and $7 per ~15 seconds, it adds up very quickly. As models improve, producing good looking short content is becoming trivial. Building something that holds together as a story is still not. Continue Video in Seedance is clearly trying to address part of this, but in my case it has been broken for the last couple of weeks, so none of my longer attempts would go through. In theory, you could imagine a small team of 5–10 people generating all day from the same storyboard, using a shared visual reference as a single source of truth. That alone shows how close we are to something that starts looking like a real production pipeline. But we are not fully there yet. Right now it still feels like we can touch the future with the tip of our fingers, while at the same time struggling to precisely steer a model using mostly words, references, and iterations when the narrative becomes complex. Short clips are easy. Worldbuilding is not. And storytelling is still the hardest part.

If I produce knives and my knives are used to hurt people, am I guilty of either negligence nor assault? I don't think so, because my knives were built for domestic use, not for assault and violence. If anyone is to be held responsible, it should be the hooligans abusing the tool I made. Likewise, if Hollywood wants to hold anyone culpable for copyright malfeasance, it should go after the individual creators and leave ByteDance alone. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER.
