As a Brit who has lived long term in the US I have been cringing at what has been going on 'back home'. The current state of affairs is scarcely believable. The rot is all pervasive and much worse than I expected when I decided to bring my American wife back to relative safety over a decade ago. People couldn't understand why I did so but the writing was on the wall even then.
