@JayKnicky You can’t have your “power forward “ grab 4 rebounds and none of the guards rebound. Bridges is so afraid to get physical so he can continue his consecutive game streak.
@JayKnicky It was a great win but we were lucky. Derrick White missed all but one 3 and Josh Hart made 5. We got out rebounded again and that has been a consistent theme lately. Fools gold. As Riley said, “no rebounds, no rings”
"He reached out to me to find out where he can be effective on the offensive end…I was telling him transition & getting to the FT line…He's been doing that"

@ShamsCharania I’m glad that the league is developing proposals. But I maintain the only way to stop it is to de-incentivize losing and reward winning so no team wants to have the worst record.
The NBA presented three comprehensive anti-tanking concepts to its Board of Governors on Wednesday, with modifications expected to each before a formal vote in May, per ESPN sources.
1. 18 teams in draft lottery (seeds 7-15 in each conference) – flattened odds, with bottom 10 teams having an 8% chance, the remaining 20% odds distributed in decreasing order for 11 through 18, and and a lottery drawing for all 18 picks.
2) 22 teams in lottery using 2-year record (seeds 7-15, plus the four playoff first round exits in both conferences). Lottery teams would reach a minimum win total floor in each season, such as 25 wins. If a team falls short of the floor, it gets slotted to meet the floor. Top 4 drawn as part of lottery, as is currently.
3) 18 teams in a "5 by 5" lottery – bottom 5 teams have equal odds for the top pick, with lottery formed for picks 1-5. Bottom 5 teams have a floor at 10; those that fall out of top 5 get sorted in a separate drawing.
@ShamsCharania The NBA must adopt a no tanking reverse draft scenario whereby the teams with the 5 best records among the 10 worst teams are awarded lottery position. The 5 remaining teams pick in the order of their record. In this scenario the team with the worst record gets the 10th pick.
Mikal Bridges as the Knicks lose in LA for the 2nd night in a row, 126-118 to Clippers:
7 points
7 rebounds
4 assists
2 steals
-17 game low
Benched down the stretch
@NBA_NewYork I agree that this is one of the worst trades in history. Marks is smart. He showcases guys lets them pad their stats and sucker teams overpay for them. Brilliant! Knicks could have got Donavan for 5 picks.
@NBA_NewYork Wow! Not championship material. He is afraid to shoot, for any type of contact and puts no pressure on the defense. You don’t have to guard him. He is not a great defender and gets cooked regularly. Have him coming off the bench. Can’t handle NY pressure.
@espn We’ve got to get up in Detroit and Cleveland the same way. Make them earn it and don’t make it easy for them by launching 3’s. Against the Spurs, our 3’s came in transition, catch and shoots due to penetration and ball movement. Move the ball Brunson!
@IanBegley This was Bridges’ best game. He was stout, aggressive and even dunked on a fast break. But we need this from him every game! He has to make the other team account for him. Big ups!
Mikal Bridges' team-high 25 points and game-high five steals help NYK beat the Spurs, snapping SAS's 11-game winning streak. Not hyperbole to call this one of most impressive wins of this Knick season; 6 players scored at least 10 pts and team defense was strong all afternoon.
@NBA_NewYork The Knicks will not go deep into the playoffs with their current offense. A point guard averaging 6 assists per game and takes most of the shots. Teams have adjusted and put size on him. Move the ball.
@LegionHoops@DraymondShow@NBA__Courtside We shouldn’t get angry by those comments bc they’re true. Knicks need to make adjustments against him. Got to put size and physicality on him the whole game. Bridges is a snack for him.
@NBA_NewYork You’re on point with your assessment. We should have learned from last year when Siakam cooked Hart and we had Precious rotting on the bench. Hart is too small to defend Siakam. Stubborn coaches don’t win rings.
Jalen Brunson as Knicks lose to last-place Pacers at home in overtime 137-134:
40 points
15-31 FG season high attempts
4-14 three season high attempts
8 assists
1 turnover
@Evaat67 Brunson needs to move the ball when being smothered by bigger physical players. But he forces the issue. Knicks’ record is solid when he takes fewer than 20 shots.
@cbzdewka@MarshallGreen_@ChatSports If they do, they’ll have a chance to win big games. We got cooked by Siakam last year when Thibs kept Hart on him. We had Precious on the bench. Don’t know their thinking.
@cbzdewka@MarshallGreen_@ChatSports Yes they will be bigger if Brown plays McCuller and Diawara more. But I see a lot of 6-5 and under and they get cooked by big guards. Bridges is 6-6 but plays like 6-2.
@cbzdewka@MarshallGreen_@ChatSports The Pistons have had a block party against the small Knicks and there’s a reason that no team whose best player is under 6-3 has ever won a championship.
@NilesHarris1@MarshallGreen_@ChatSports Taking nothing at all from Pistons who are very good and played great- Knicks were without KAT,OG,Alvarado and Hart wasn’t healthy. Once the first set of subs came in the game was over. This game is nothing to be upset about.
