This feels like GW saw that people aren't liking 40K's current direction and are now scrambling to find something to bring players back to the table.
The return of Tactical marine apperance looks nice but man those guard vehicles are just a sign of GW's insecurity of Bolt Action

Ok, so Adepticon preview was strange as fuck. Steel Legion damage control with concept art that looks like it was sketched over the weekend. Some totally random minis, vehicles that look straight out of Bolt Action with distinct WWII aesthetics, and more named characters that nobody is going to care about. On top of that, a generic Imperial Guard Kill Team nobody asked for, while Catachans, Steel Legion, Tallarn, Vostroyans or other cool regiments are still waiting their turn. It looks like GW is completely out of ideas, yet shareholders demand record profits every year, so they just throw random shit at the wall hoping something sticks. Primaris Tactical Marines only show how out of ideas they are, so they’re reverting to classics. Also, it was a technical disaster, even worse than usual. I guess they hired even cheaper technicians this time. After this reveal, I’m not hyped. I’m not even disappointed like usual. I just think 40k is getting even worse than it was before the preview. The models feel out of place. Sure, some are fine in a vacuum, others feel Sigmarfied but if this is the direction the rest of 40k is going, I’m not looking forward to it. Even the promise that 11th will make the game feel more narrative again and ditch L-shaped terrain blocks isn’t enough to remove the bad taste. In reality, these promises will probably end the same way 10th edition’s promises did.

Secret shop traveling merchant in the middle of nowhere. It's nothing crazy, but these small moments and discoveries that add up overtime.
The more I play this game the more I fall in love with it.

What the hell is up with all of these TATTOOS everywhere? “Back in the Day” only Sailors got them when they were DRUNK in the Philippines. Then it became a “Thing” with STRIPPERS in the 90s. Now I see Dentists, Teachers, Nurses, Interns all TATTED UP. My Theory: It’s an Easy, quick way to feel Distinctive and Special, WITHOUT actually doing the WORK to be Distinctive and Special. Too much “Ink” and Selfies, Not enough GRIT. #tatsaresilly

srsly wtf is up with GW and constantly showing them without the helmets or removing the helmets of chaplains to reveal their faces in public,
the whole point of them wearing the helmet is so they can embody the visage of the emperor to everyone,
they never remove the helmet outside of extremely rare cases, and they would never do it on a active battle field.

Over 1,100 American rabbis just signed a letter organized by the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS) demanding that the United States government stop enforcing its own immigration laws.
The letter, released in advance of HIAS’s annual “Refugee Shabbat” and signed by clergy from 45 states, quotes the Christian Old Testament, invokes the memory of the Holocaust (obviously), and calls on leaders not to “wrong or oppress the stranger.”
Rabbi Jill Jacobs of T’ruah declared that Jewish tradition could not be clearer about the obligation to welcome the sojourner. Rabbi Rick Jacobs of the Union for Reform Judaism called it “a core Jewish obligation rooted in Torah, imprinted on Jewish souls through the many migrations of Jewish history.”
Meanwhile, in Minnesota, 26 Jewish organizations and synagogues jointly condemned ICE enforcement operations in the Twin Cities, calling the situation volatile and expressing deep concern for immigrant communities being disrupted by federal agents doing their jobs.

Having watched a bit of Cadfael, I might go thru and watch the rest of it. It is about a Welsh crusader turned Benedictine monk in the 1200s with a keen eye and a desire for justice who solves mysteries. Zoomers beware, it's a show you have to pay attention to or you'll be lost.
