Listening to DB today (whose employer is Playfly) he made it sound like Nebraska is playing 4D chess and had a two way go with taking this to court. He didn’t want to say much but asked the rhetorical question, “Nebraska fans do know why Nebraska did this don’t they”? Seemed to hint at setting precedent for an even playing field from then which Neb could make their next planned chess move.

Nebraska plans to - is, starting today - resubmit $7.5 million in deals back to the CSC for approval. Probably will be in smaller deals. NU will do that and then see how the House plaintiff's legal challenge to the settlement's...perspective...of MMRs as associated entities. Plaintiff lawyer (Kessler) says plaintiff never intended MMRs to be viewed the way the CSC does.

Nebraska softball (3-1) followed up its big win over No. 1 Texas by taking down UTSA (0-2) 6-3 to finish the day 2-0. The Huskers will be back in action at 10:05 a.m. tomorrow against Washington, after beating the Huskies 8-5 on Friday in their season opener.

Roger Craig was a good player, had a few great seasons (1985, 1988) for a dynastic team, but he's not a HOF worthy player. Also had some pretty bad playoff fumbles. Fred Taylor, LeSean McCoy, Tiki Barber, Steven Jackson, Warrick Dunn, Ricky Watters, Priest Holmes were all just as good/better and not in IMO.

Vance from Georgia tells @finebaum that a tree fell through his house into his bedroom 10 minutes ago.
When asked why he decided to stay on the line, Vance says there was nothing he could immediately do about it, and assures us that he and his dogs are OK.
"I was on hold and thought, 'Well, what are you going to do? There's nothing you can do this second.'"
Unfazed, Vance goes ahead asks Paul a question about LSU's transfer portal class.
