You're not "fake" I'm a designer, you can still build and make money without having to be a developer in the indie hacking community. Do not put yourself down! Yes, the Indie hacking community is dev focused and they launch great projects every day. But you don't have to follow the norm, be you, and stand out from the crowd. This also applies to others who think they need to be a developer to be a part of the indie hacking community. I was put under a lot of pressure from my family for not pursuing computer science or something that they knew. I had no idea what I was doing with my career in design. But all I know was, I wanted to take a path that no one has taken (around me). I'm glad I did it, it could be dumb luck or working hard for years. Happy to have pursued something that I love! With regards to resources, just be active in the community and you will find great people to connect with. Ask questions, reply, celebrate wins, and learn!
