We hosted 10 girls and two teachers from Iganga Girls Secondary School for a STEM tour. The visit included a warm welcome from our robotics class, a presentation about ASIST, and a guided tour of student projects and robotics innovations. The highlight was a hands-on VEX Clawbot building and driving session. Students who represented Uganda at VEX Worlds and PARC 2025 inspired the visitors with their stories, followed by a Q\&A, photos, and networking. The Uganda team from @ASIST_Uganda, a renowned STEM and robotics organization that runs the @YoungEngneersUG program, was flagged off yesterday on July 15, 2025, at Semawata Road, Ntinda, ahead of the Pan African Robotics Competition in Senegal. 🇸🇳 The ceremony was led by Ms. Maureen Karamagi, @Kamaureen , CEO at African School of Innovations/Young Engineers Uganda, who wished the team success, saying: "I wish you the best as you travel to Senegal 🇸🇳 and we're confident you'll represent Uganda 🇺🇬 well and bring home the trophy.
