@marcportermagee My CA school district has a no cellphone policy; however, too many teachers don’t want to do the work & enforce it even though admin will confiscate the student’s phone for the day or give period suspensions. This teaches our students that (some) teachers are weak and afraid.

Public schools: “But how will we enforce this cell phone ban?!” Private schools: “We saw you using your phone in hallway. We will give you your phone back next month.”

@WillCainShow My local teachers’ union, which I unenrolled from in 2021, sent this out to all teachers in my district under the guise of donating to the Minnesota teachers…& then this appeared when the link was open. Mind you my union is in California.
