@famke03709014 @Markus_Krall @rshereme Pretty much every journalist outside of a handful have universally negative coverage of Trump which is pretty indicative of a free press; biased as it may be. The question I ask you is have you read a positive article or watched positive news coverage of Trump? If not, why?

Imagine the following scenario: russia attacks the Baltic countries to connect with Kaliningrad — just as it attacked Ukraine to gain access to Crimea. What will the U.S. do? Here’s my prediction: nothing. Article 5 will be treated like the Budapest Memorandum. Trump, Rubio, and other MAGA propagandists will claim, “This isn’t our war.” And if russia swiftly invades the Baltic states (which would be far easier than Ukraine), declares them part of russia, and then threatens the West with nuclear weapons should they respond — what will the West do? Exactly what they did for Ukraine. The cowardice of the U.S. has emboldened russia. Those who now say “russia would never dare invade” said the same about Ukraine — right before russia did exactly that. The only way to stop russia now is to help Ukraine and punish russia for its imperial ambitions.

@QuerdenkerL @Markus_Krall @rshereme Vietnam was France btw...in fact they threatened to ally with the USSR if the US didn't do the police action in Vietnam to try to resecure their former colony.

@IsabellaMDeLuca Even in the graph shown Newsome isn't gaining better odds. It's Rubio that's gaining from Vance's declining odds.

@herdlon @Frid45 The result of both articles is "full steam ahead" "no update following a "we reached out" they're both regarding a January 2025 review of the deal which has already concluded and the transfer was signed off by the Pentagon. Still articles coming up about it almost like... rumours

@NoKithNorKin @Frid45 But the AUKUS plan is more or less canceled, no? They won't sell submarines or aren't willing to now with Trump. For the facilities yes, but the US want to keep submarines now with Trump policy. The deal was that, but with Trump and rumours abou this contact it smells bad

@herdlon @Frid45 There has been a $30b Australian based naval yard under construction for some time now. Why would they have ships before they have the facilities to build/maintain them. Again the key difference in the deal is the US is making Australia an independent submarine naval power

@NoKithNorKin @Frid45 France was ready to transfer a part of their tech for that from what I read. Ah the end the US didn't do anything and every US weapons don't really guarantee independence But at least thank you for not being insulting 🤝

@herdlon @Frid45 France was making a customer where maintenance and future purchases were through French shipyards by French citizens. The US is building Australian shipyards teaching Australians maintenance and building the ships alongside Australians so they will be an independent naval power.

@Frid45 Not totally true for Australia after what happened with ships (bought from France, cancelled, bought to the US, not delivered : Critical fail). I can't really consider them as allies

@Cpt_TAKAHASHI Smug, elitist, insincere, globalist, sell their country out. - Coastal CA and Quebec (also NY) Think of Kentucky, Coal, Tobacco, Liquor, God...they demonize their primary industry and lifestyle and lobby to end all pathways to prosperity and have the gall to be the 'moral' party

@realUpperThree @WallStreetMav What economies...Europe was in the state of modern day Gaza post war. The US flooded money into France Germany and UK to trickle across European nations to rebuild... West Europe would be in the state of the former Soviet block if the US hadn't picked you back up.

Americans dropped nukes on Japan twice and now they‘re best friends. Americans defended Europeans for free the past 80 years and they are the most ungrateful pricks imaginable. There is a lesson to be learned there.

@JosephMothers2 @LeftyWinter For the curious. In 1862 his stance was repatriation of blacks to Liberia... emancipation proclamation happens because Grants losing to many men in the war and Fredrick Douglass is calling Lincoln a moron every month in his paper. Lincoln never altered his stance on repatriation

Typical person who's not educated on the Democratic Party and the change they had since the 1800's. Can't believe people still think like this. It's clear in 2026 which Party would be abolitionists and which party wouldn't. Democrats and Republicans switched during civil rights.
Pop Base@PopBase

Nick Cannon calls Democrats “the party of the KKK”: “People don’t know that the Democrats are the party of the KKK. People don’t know that the Republicans are the party that freed the slaves.”

@joekubert29454 @JeffreyLuscombe damned if you do damned if you don't. Don't buy f35 have an Air Force that's incapable of fighting against the US. Buy them have a better air force the US can still turn off(maybe). Frankly just do a Mexico and don't upgrade your air force their primary fighter is 8 f5 from 1940

@JeffreyLuscombe F35 = "the ring to bind them all", as far as air power goes, for all purpose, giving the USA control over one's airoforce: prolonged unplugging from the USA=plane bricked; data input & output automatically collected by the USA; the USA can < capacities, not. stealth, remotely.
