How is everyone feeling about Crimson Desert? I’m picking it up tomorrow when I get back home, or should I not? How are we feeling about it?

@NikTek You can use them for future puzzles etc. Those rocks are fuel for the Kiln factory ,in a quest. After that quest you get a pot where you can store them in.

Does anyone have any idea what these rock elements are meant for in Crimson Desert? an enemy creature dropped one of these, I grabbed one which appears to freeze everything, put it in water and it became an electric rock.

@jake_theviking Yes, it’s a slow paced open world. At least how I play it. Almost every corner has something hidden. Caves, towns, hidden attics etc….yes I just got started getting used to the controls..but that’s my only big negative point.

I’m so torn on whether I should get this or not…

@CrimsonDesert_ I love the game, but as mentioned: a lot of controls to remember or a certain combination. Everything will get used to, but for example: why control + E, instead of just E to talk to a NPC? Or..pressing shift to Sprint, let it keep sprinting/running after one button.

Klant kwam bij me met 4 jaar niet-ingediende crypto aangiften. Meerdere exchanges. Geen administratie. We hebben alles gereconstrueerd, alle jaren ingediend, nul boetes. De meeste mensen wachten tot ze een brief van de Belastingdienst krijgen. Wees dat voor.

@Grummz For my 100% yes, I really like the ‘boring town’ part, get used to the controls. It’s all a setup to gettin to know the game. And to be honest: the no handholding is the best. Figure it out!

People ask me if I can recommend Crimson Desert. And I can’t really answer that, because the first part of the game, controls, the boring first town, are going to turn a lot of people off. I can say that I really enjoy the game past that point, personally, because I like having this big sandbox to play in and explore. But if you have no patience (understandably) for the controls, or if you hate puzzles, or if you came for a hugely integrated story feeling, you won’t really enjoy it. Crimson desert is very polarizing.

@ArcRaidersNow Just use AI. People who complain are the same people complaining the car replaced the horse. The light bulb replaced the candles etc. This is and always be happening.

ARC Raiders developer Embark Studios has started replacing many of the game’s AI-generated voice lines with recordings from real voice actors after backlash from players. At launch, the extraction shooter used AI text-to-speech for some in-game dialogue, which sparked criticism from fans who felt it reduced opportunities for real performers.
