I honestly have no idea where people are getting this “news” (more like a rumor) that @stablekwon (Do Kwon) is being released from prison and pardoned in exchange for investing in Trump’s crypto coin. This kind of speculation can cut both ways—it could hurt the coin or send it flying. But realistically, if Kwon were released, what impact would that actually have? He no longer holds the keys 🔑 to $LUNC, so his ability to directly influence the network is limited. At most, if he still holds a personal bag, he could potentially burn it—but beyond that, there’s not much he could do for the community in a meaningful, technical sense. It’ll definitely be interesting if any of this turns out to be true. But the bigger question is: would something like this really be enough to push the project to a $1B valuation?

I think there may have been a misread of what I said. The original question was about the difference between $LUNC and $DOG. My response was simple: unlike $DOG, which sits on the Bitcoin blockchain, $LUNC operates on its own independent blockchain. Just to add some context—I love $DOG. I have a massive bag and I’m still accumulating. I’m one of the OGs who received the airdrop years ago with the RuneStone, along with other drops, and I’m looking forward to #RuneJune. Because I’ve pivoted and now see value in $LUNC—and want the best for my other investments, including encouraging companies like @C2Blockchain to consider it—doesn’t mean I’ve turned my back on $DOG. Just like C2B holds multiple assets to diversify, I do the same. To my fellow $DOG supporters: don’t lock yourself into just one coin while ignoring potential opportunities elsewhere. This space wasn’t designed for people to retire off a single asset. In crypto, you need to do your own research and aim to stack as many wins as possible. $LUNC is a strong project despite its past challenges. It’s now driven by a global community, which is a big part of why it’s gaining momentum again. It’s a global asset—not just a meme coin or a typical blue chip.
