It was Rajendra Rathore from Rajasthan because of whom Mamata lost Bengal🔥 Yes, you heard it right. This man from Rajasthan didn’t come with drama, he came with 20 hour working oer days Walking lanes, sipping tea with shopkeepers, listening to rickshaw wallahs, and talking to scared small traders. He didn’t just oversee Bhabanipur, he managed 120+ local teams, each one led by a different worker, each one reporting to him. From booth‑level MLCs, booth‑captains, social‑media volunteers, to local “shakti‑kendras”, he had hundreds of people under his coordination, all working like one army. Instead of big slogans, he asked one simple question: “She calls herself your mother… but tell one thing she did for you.” Local resentment, TMC extortion, booth‑capturing, cycle culture people were fed up, but no one had listened. Rathore did. He gave them a voice, a plan, and a sense that this time someone cares. Result? Mamata crashes on her own seat to Shubhendu Adhikari. Later, Shubhendu openly calls him the man who broke her kila not with noise, but with hard work, empathy, and midnight strategy calls. So Bengal didn’t fall to wind it fell to one exhausted, overworked, Rajendra Rathore who simply refused to give up 🔥

He is Ashoke Dinda, a former Indian cricketer from West Bengal. He has been one of the most successful cricketers in India. In 2021, he retired from cricket and entered politics by joining the BJP. Just like his cricket career, he proved to be successful in politics as well - he became an MLA from Bengal in 2021, and now in 2026, he has once again won by a huge margin as a BJP MLA. Ashoke Dinda spent years in opposition in a state where the TMC was in power. He was attacked multiple times by TMC goons, faced life-threatening assaults, and was even injured. Despite all this, he remained firm with BJP, did not leave the party, and continued to raise public issues for five years while fighting against TMC. He also used his personal savings to serve the people of Bengal, doing work for the public that the TMC government was not allowing. And now, TMC has lost the election in Bengal and Ashoke Dinda has once again become an MLA. He will now be part of the government in Bengal, and no one will be able to stop him from working for the people.

CM Yogi Adityanath says the ₹42,000 cr Ganga Expressway was built without bank loans, highlighting strong financial discipline. Uttar Pradesh is now revenue surplus, with its economy, budget, and per capita income tripling since 2017 through better management. He also stressed transparency in jobs, stronger audit systems, and growth in employment and MSMEs, while criticizing past financial mismanagement in projects like JPNIC in Lucknow.

Thanks Aravind! I do read your analysis sometimes, spot on . Good job. Keep going.

While BJP's amazing win in Bengal has taken all the limelight, what @himantabiswa has done in Assam is no less amazing. He has led his party to an unprecedented and bigger win in-spite of an expected second term anti-incumbency. IMO, this shows when leaders act with an ideology and deliver on their development promises, the voters vote them back. An expected anti-incumbency turns to pro-incumbency.

1. Just got off a call with @UnSubtleDesi. I couldn't be happier for her and both of us couldn't help but discuss the harrowing days of post poll violence in West Bengal in 2021. So I am going to share what happened five years ago just so ppl know what happened. #WestBengal2026.

♦️The most positive aspect of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is that they do not forget any soldiers... they give due respect to all who have fought for them.Victor Banerjee was one of them. In 1991, actor Victor Banerjee contested the Lok Sabha election from Kolkata on a BJP ticket, securing 89,155 votes and a 21.8% vote share during the peak of CPM rule. Decades later, as Bengal stands at another crucial political moment, his early saffron fight is being remembered as a symbol of courage, conviction and BJP’s long struggle in the state. And he is still remembered because there is no Rajmata or prince here... everyone is a warrior. Everyone is a king here.

Late Shri Manohar Parrikar Ji once narrated his ordeal. "I'm from Parra, a village in Goa, so we're called 'Parrikars.' My village is famous for its watermelons. When I was a child, the farmers there held a 'Watermelon Eating Contest' in May, after the harvest. All the children were invited and asked to eat as many watermelons as they wanted. Many years later, I went to IIT Mumbai to study engineering. Then I returned to my village after 6.5 years. I went to the market to look for watermelons. But they were gone. The ones I found were very small. I went to meet the farmer who used to hold the 'Watermelon Eating Contest.' Now his son had taken his place. He still held the contest, but there was a difference. When the old farmer offered us watermelons to eat, he would ask us to spit the seeds into a bowl. We were forbidden to chew the seeds. He was collecting seeds for the next crop. We were, in effect, unpaid child laborers. He would keep his best watermelons for the competition, using them as the best. He obtained good seeds, which produced even bigger watermelons the next year. When his son arrived, he thought the larger ones would fetch a higher price in the market, so he started selling the larger ones and keeping the smaller ones for competition. The next year, the watermelons grew smaller, and the next even smaller. A watermelon generation lasts one year. In seven years, Parra's best watermelons were wiped out. In humans, a generation changes every 25 years. In 200 years, we will realize the mistakes we were making in educating our children. Selecting good seeds, that is, talent, is a huge task in itself. Due to irrelevant ideas and useless things, our good watermelons will go to market, leaving us with useless, inferior seeds. We must think about this in today's context.
