Along with pursuing the criminal remedy through the FIR/complaint already filed, I have also adopted the civil remedy under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. In compliance with the IT Rules, I have today sent a formal complaint to YouTube's Grievance Officer, demanding immediate takedown of the offensive content by Dhruv Rathee that hurts religious sentiments, promotes disharmony, and violates the due diligence obligations of intermediaries. Should YouTube fail to act satisfactorily within the stipulated time, I will escalate the matter by filing an appeal before the Grievance Appellate Committee (GAC). The GAC has previously directed removal of derogatory, offensive, and unlawful content from various social media platforms, including YouTube, to protect lawful rights and sentiments. With the divine blessings of Bhagwan Shri Ram & Shri Krishna, voices + legal action (criminal & civil) = real protection for Sanatan Dharma. I will pursue justice relentlessly on all fronts. Yes, the Congress-led UPA government announced $25 million in humanitarian aid to Pakistan on 31 Aug 2010 for severe flood relief (initial $5M in mid-Aug, increased after assessing damage).
