@1ssve Yes. My husband died suddenly 2 years ago and my career - which had been so important to me and which I thoroughly enjoyed - became unwanted. I quit work and retrained (though mostly semi-retired), don’t even speak to ppl I knew for 20 years

@PinoAmericano The last time I was in DC, in 2015, I was shocked to see how run down it looked. The reflecting pool had brown, murky water and it smelled horrible, like sewage. I’m happy to see it finally being restored.

I didn't realize Washington D.C., including our beautiful monuments and facilities, were in such disrepair until Trump started fixing them and posting the images. Even the maintenance people were derelict in their duties.

@stevemagness Travel teams also seem to interfere with kids playing multiple sports. I could play softball, volleyball and soccer, etc. throughout the year when I was younger. Now My friend’s daughter can only play 1 because of the travel teams or commitment to travel ball.
