We've got a STACKED talent lineup for the return of #WSOW streams 🤩

Goodbye BoomTV 3 The Bad News.. After four plus years of giving everything to the growth and success of the brand, sacrificing my mental health, physical health, and family time that I'll never get back - Friday the 14th was my last day with the team. Under BoomTV, I executed 310 events, paid out $2,945,740 in prizing, and managed 17,530 unique players across dozens of game titles. I was able to work with the likes of @Activision, @Respawn, @MountainDew , @USNationalGuard, @XboxGamePass, and so many other brands and creators. For those memories, I'll forever be grateful for you each one you I spoke with along the way. @Boomtv_Victor & @stevtier - Thank you for trusting me to the extent you both did over the past few years, and just letting me run with whatever idea came up next. I do wish we could've gotten that Warzone League off the ground, but zero regrets otherwise. @mateo_jw & @ADOBOPUNK - How you were able to continuously bring ideas to life still amazes me. I could scratch an idea in my phone notes and have that turn into a 3D animated golden Nessie, and I can't thank you both enough for the late nights we'd spend just shooting ideas around and chatting. I can't wait for what's next for us. @Slandz_NA & @Mewnlight - Your continued support across these years is something words cannot describe. Whether it was helping to keep Proving Grounds running, answering so many Fortnite questions, or just watching you knock your events out of the park - wherever you land next will be lucky to have you. @magicpat_ - Marketing in esports is something I've never envied, and you somehow filled that void and more for not only our team, but for me. Your vision for what should be and how things should appear was top notch, and while you kept our larger scale events running smoothly, your continued ideation on what could take Proving Grounds to the next level will forever be appreciated. I guess I should thank you for all of the carries in ranked too. @NotNikolai_ - What you can do with broadcast tech is insane, and the fact you let me ask so many questions during the process won't be forgotten. You've been a bro since Day 1, and we've been on one hell of ride. @Falloutt - Thank you for taking a chance on me all the way back in 2016 at PAX East. From introducing me to the players and taking me backstage to show me the setup, you fueled a fire, and it's something I could never pay back. Even these past few years as we worked continued working together on Code Freedom has been a dream. To the casters and community that gave me purpose, what real words can I say? From my first Apex Legends broadcast with @ZephyrCasts & @esports_DiA, to watching you both grow into LAN talent and household names has been a gift. Watching my Warzone family like @spidertiff, @DandroCasts, & @GrandmasterGojj cast numerous LAN events - please never stop growing. Shifty if you see this, I would love to chat sometime. There really are so many that I want to mention, but to every single one of you who I worked with along the way - thank you <3 <3 What's Next? Honestly, I'm not sure. While the sudden closure of BoomTV is beyond heartbreaking, I'm fully committed to staying in esports whether full-time or freelance. I have experience in broadcast, in-person events, marketing, player management on a large and personal scale, project management, and so many other corners of the esports market. If your project or team needs a Swiss army knife of esports, I'm your guy. maz <3 Discord: mazida Email: hello@mazida.live

Today closes nearly a 5-year chapter, and I start to write a new one. I, along with many other talented individuals, have been laid off by BoomTV as it shuts down its events operations. A thread 🧵 (1/10)

Sadly, Boom TV has closed its events operations. Almost seven years ago, I joined with the goal of helping build something special. I never could have imagined the incredible experiences, relationships, and opportunities that would come from it.
