@script_ing Do you think that with how common Ai and stuff like claude is being used among Roblox Devs, should we start doing the same too? Or is there still merit and benefits to manually scripting and manually learning LUAU? Just curious cause I'm new to dev

We just dropped the FIRST EVER CROSS-SERVER Case Battles on Roblox and the feature is on FIRE 🔥🔥 Within SECONDS of the update, users FLOODED into case battle lobbies, battling players in completely different servers! Within the 1st hour, we hit 3,000+ completed battles🤯 Cross-server play was an extremely elaborate system to engineer, but the idea is high PvP availability & match velocity! If you can't find a match between the 20 people in your server, why not the 1,500 people in other servers? That was the theory! And the results are clear as day :) Mission accomplished😎

@Nolzzi @HexagonBuildsRB youre saving time on low quality items/useless stuff for that price. depending on how good of a developer you are, this pack is either extremely worth it or extremely useless, which is why so many people disagree on this post.

nice pickaxes but holy people r dumb as hell- Sometimes devs don't have time to hire other builders so they resort to packs like this, a 25USD pickaxe pack where 1 pickaxe is for 1 usd is not that much. If you don't want to buy don't but but don't bitch abt it

@nytfcdghjk55326 @HexagonBuildsRB It’s cheap. If you sell a pack of models you’re not pricing it on how long it took you to make. You price it on how much time you can save your customers. If this saves me 2 hours of my life for 25 bucks, that’s awesome. And the person selling it can make a living

I was able to turn around a dead game of mine, yay! It's only making 10 dollars a day, but I'm happy with the learnings from this.

@haizoopRBLX Wouldn't worry too much about exploiting when you're starting out. Though a good way of thinking about it is asking yourself two questions. - "What would happen if a player spam sends this remote?" - "What happens if they send values that have been tampered with?"

Day 33 of learning how to script on Roblox! 👀✨ Today I was able to learn about remote functions!! This was a script I was able to learn from the tutorial and then redo it myself. However, this is something where the client is communicating to the server and the server communicates back to the client. I guess I'm kind of confused because I was told anything from the client side can be exploited? 🤔 So would this be the correct way to write this script? This whole exploiter avoidance thing is really confusing me 😓

@MrChickenRocket Yepp, AI assistant is very nice to write commands with. by far my favorite ai feature roblox has done

I used Roblox's AI assistant to organize one of KennyNL's excellent asset packs into a "mall" after bulk importing everything. Total time from .zip file to usable mall, about 10 minutes! #robloxdev
