The final round of West Bengal elections is over. So let me say something which would offend many. This opinion is irrespective of what the electoral outcome of the elections might be. A state like West Bengal does not deserve elections. It needs to be made a Part C state, directly governed by Centre. Until barbarians in the state are brought to basic levels of civility, they should not be allowed participation in a mature and responsible process like electoral politics.
