📌 A message to our students The NEET UG 2026 examination is just three days away. To every candidate: you have worked hard, you have prepared, and now is the time to trust your effort. Stay calm, rest well, and focus on doing your best. That is all that is asked of you. The examination will be conducted as scheduled. Please do not be swayed by rumours of postponement or by the noise on social media. Rely only on official communication from NTA. We want to reassure you that extensive arrangements are in place for a safe, secure and fair examination, in close coordination with relevant ministries, state governments and security agencies. The integrity of this process is our highest priority, and robust, multi-layered safeguards have been put in place. Any attempt at malpractice will be dealt with firmly - because protecting honest, hardworking students is exactly what this is about. The difficult decision taken on 3rd May was made solely in your interest. The moment a problem was identified, we acted to protect the fairness of the process for every sincere candidate. We have carried those lessons forward and strengthened the system further this time. If the pressure feels heavy, please know you are not alone. The MANAS mental-health helpline (14416) is available, and support is there for anyone who needs it. Reaching out is a sign of strength. 🙏 A humble request to parents, teachers, and the wider community: please help us keep our students calm. Avoid sharing unverified information. Let them walk into the examination with steady, untroubled minds. To our students - breathe, trust yourselves, and give it your best. We are with you. -National Testing Agency

Many students feel the rush to conduct Re-NEET is driven by a desire to quickly move past the controversy and reduce public criticism, rather than adequately addressing the concerns and stress faced by aspirants. First, Fix system. #postponeReneet @ndtv @DainikBhaskar @republic

Please postponing ReNEET 2026. A short delay is better than putting students under extreme mental pressure and risking more tragedies. Conduct the exam only after giving adequate time so that every aspirant can appear with confidence and peace of mind @abhijeet_dipke @NTA_Exams

Guys, Lets be honest. Our voices are scattered through texts and nobody seems to listen. 1) Instead record your video and share your Re-neet story and reasons to postpone it. 2) Tag the student unions, media houses and ministers. 3) Keep the hashtag unified. #postponereneet

@jaypanicker @DrSJaishankar you count diplomatic wins, but can you count the students who can't download admit cards, lost study material, lost teacher contact due to Telegram ban? We demand postponement. This is not governance. This is chaos and no one is responding. #postponereneet #reneet

The Modi government’s robust security arrangements for the upcoming NEET retest reflect seriousness and accountability, not excess. After the unfortunate paper leak incident that shook the trust of lakhs of students, decisive steps were essential to restore confidence and ensure a fair process. Mobilising CRPF, CISF, IAF support for secure transport, AI-enabled CCTV, biometrics, and multi-layer checks are temporary but necessary measures for this high-stakes re-examination. These protocols protect honest aspirants from any repeat of malpractice. Most of the stringent logistics, such as airlifting question papers and secure escorts, occur before students even reach the centers. Biometrics, facial recognition, and surveillance are now standard in major competitive exams globally to prevent proxies and leaks. Indian students and parents have every right to demand fool-proof arrangements so that merit alone decides medical seats. On the 15-minute extension to 195 minutes: this actually gives candidates more time to attempt the paper comfortably. It is being implemented alongside urgent fixes for admit card issues by the NTA. This does not dilute the long-term goals of NEP 2020, which this government continues to advance through curriculum reforms, reduced rote learning, and multiple opportunities. One crisis-driven retest with tight security upholds the exam’s credibility rather than undermining NEP’s vision. As a former IPS officer, you should know the importance of strong action against organised leaks and irregularities. Paper leak scams were a deep-rooted problem that the Modi government has confronted head-on with stricter laws, greater digitisation, and direct oversight. Personal monitoring from the PMO level demonstrates commitment, not overreach. We stand firmly with the lakhs of sincere NEET aspirants and their families who have invested years of hard work. Their future must not be compromised by any mafia networks. The focus remains on delivering a transparent, leak-proof examination where merit prevails. Systemic improvements are underway for the future so that such extraordinary measures are no longer needed. Criticism is welcome, but it should acknowledge the root issue, the leaks that hurt students, and support efforts to safeguard fairness. The BJP and NDA government will continue prioritising integrity in education. Students first. Merit first. It is understandable that Annamalai, the self-proclaimed “honest” IPS-turned-politician who once rode the BJP wave in Tamil Nadu only to abandon ship when it suited his ambitions, is now shedding crocodile tears over “extreme security” for the NEET-UG 2026 retest to position himself as a "neutral" politician to appease his global masters whom have taught him multiple courses over the last 24 months. But spare us the drama, neither your supporters nor the masses will be interested in such rants. Continuous raking up of non issues will only make the people view you as a nuisance rather than a serious politician.
K.Annamalai@annamalai_k

Two-tier CRPF+CISF escort with IAF airlift. 4-layer CCTV with AI surveillance. Biometric & facial recognition before entry. Multiple layers of frisking. Multi-level oversight with direct monitoring from the Prime Minister’s office. Yes, you read it right. But these are not arrangements to buy high-level, classified, military-grade software. These are the arrangements made by the Ministry of Education for the NEET retest scheduled for 21st June 2026. Every student would appreciate the government's efforts to prevent paper leaks by implementing additional security measures and enhanced monitoring. But an increase in scrutiny before entry, extended frisking, and an increase in the overall exam time from 180 minutes to 195 minutes will only add to their already ballooning exam pressure. While the government has taken measures to contain leaks, they have forgotten the additional burden they have imposed on a young student before they take up an assessment, one that they have spent months preparing for, dissolving the entire purpose of our exam system and the NEP 2020’s goal to reduce “Exam Stress”. Despite all these arrangements for the examination, there are issues with downloading the admit cards, and NTA has assured students that it will resolve them at the earliest. Yes, there are challenges that demand meaningful solutions. However, I am concerned that the approach devised for the NEET retest may not resolve the issue; instead, it risks creating a new set of problems.

@NTA_Exams You disrupted one of the largest sources of study material for students, and now many aspirants are struggling to download their admit cards due to repeated glitches on your website. Have some empathy for the mental stress this has caused. #PostponeReNEET

To every NEET candidate and parent - please watch this. A few minutes that could save you serious money and stress this week. Scammers on Telegram were running two rackets targeting you: 1️⃣ Channels demanding ₹14,000 to ₹25,000 - some even ₹10 lakh - claiming they'll send you the re-exam paper. They won't. There is no leaked paper for the re-exam. The money is gone the moment you transfer it. Your admit card and WhatsApp number, if you sent them, become the tools they use to scam the next student. 2️⃣ Fake "proof" videos showing chats from before the exam. The trick: on Telegram, whoever runs a channel can edit any old message AND change what's inside it, while the date on the message stays the same. So a message edited on the 4th can be made to look exactly like it was sent on the 1st. The full explanation is in the video below — please watch and share with anyone you know who's preparing 👇 🎥 youtube.com/watch?v=4xDWNo… The same trick will be tried again after 21st June. Don't fall for it. Don't forward it. Don't pay anyone. ✅ Focus on your prep - you've earned this ✅ Trust only nta.ac.in and verified NTA handles ✅ Tell your friends - especially anyone anxious enough to be tempted 📞 Report any scam: National Cyber-Crime Helpline 1930 or cybercrime.gov.in Your hard work is what will get you through this exam. Not a Telegram channel. We're on your side. 💪 🎥 Prof. V. Kamakoti, Director, IIT Madras, also explains the technical side clearly - his videos are in the replies below.

@NTA_Exams Admit card glitches and repeated technical issues have affected countless candidates. Conducting the exam under such circumstances is unfair and irresponsible. Postpone the exam, resolve the issues, and ensure every candidate gets a level playing field. 🙏
