@eveningmagic I recommend a nation that gets its first newspaper, and it's named "Publick Occurrences Both Forreign and Domestick." They got a first issue out there, and it ends up being the only issue.

Stumpy gave us nine more years after wandering into our lives, already carrying a whole unknown history. He did not leave unloved.
He left as a cat who had known kind touches, kisses, shoulder rides, and a place on the bed or the arm of my chair. He came in when he wanted and went out as he pleased. For those nine years with us, he lived every cat’s dream — on his own terms.
