I want to thank you, @ScottAdamsSays, for sharing your walk home with us. I think it’s very important that you are letting us see you go through this. You are setting an example and showing courage and grace and resilience. It’s as instructive for others as it is brave of you. It’s just one of the reasons you are so important of a figure personally to me and publicly to the community. I hope you understand that. How a person handles the hardest challenges truly shows the measure of the man. It’s a profound honor for us for you to be sharing this with us.

@ZitoSalena @SeanTrende We would have a set for every car and sit together before we left and go over them. We would talk about what to do if there was a reason we couldn’t take the prescribed route. That’s how I learned to read and follow a map.

Every trip, my mother would take a trip to AAA and get the directions printed out on a “trip-tik” that was like a pamphlet on how To go somewhere.

@FiredUpCoug WordPerfect had a great feature that I still miss, called fit to page that would do exactly this.

Kids these days probably don’t even know how to make micro-adjustments to their font sizes and page margins. Back in my day, half the fun was figuring out whether you could turn a 9-pager into a 10-pager without the teacher realizing you set Times New Roman to 12.3 pt.

@DisaffectedPod Everything emits light too. There’s not many places that are truly dark. I try to really see the stars and realize that I’d have to go to a designated dark space where there is no light pollution to really see what I want to see.

Modern problem everyone feels, but no one says: Everything makes noise. *Everything*. All the time. Every single device from TVs to washing machines to your car in reverse to phones. Everything makes electronic chimes or tones ALL THE TIME. It's unbearable. -J

@MeganNyvold I mean, someday. We all die eventually. But it sounds like you are having a histamine reaction to something. Take an antihistamine like Benadryl.
