It's a decision about one photo, one story, that millions of other print copies will all carry - all landing on doorsteps across the country within hours of being written.

There are things that a printed newspaper can do that no website could ever do. This is magnificent.

And yet you are posting it on digital social media. You do see the irony of your post, right? That page in The Sunday Times of London will be read by only a miniscule fragment of those who will see it here. A paper that is a potted Fern lost in the Edwardian wilderness weeping in agony that the Sun has set on the Empire.

@Matthew36972140 People are very unhappy with the sports section and the removal of details such as player listings... Much of the design is the same, I imagine more will be changing in due course.

My Sunday newspaper was delivered as normal this morning, except this is a new look Observer under a different owner. What do other readers think of the changes to this newspaper?

@haxbybantam Hello Richard, newspapers are adjusting to the reality that you will know all that the previous day from your phone etc. The challenge now is not to replicate but provide something different.
