My mom just sent me these photos. My great grandpa and family have been taking me to the Oakland Coliseum since I was a baby. It’s sad that my kids won’t have the same opportunity to carry it forward.

Something incredibly fishy is going on in Oakland. Feels like John Fisher and the A’s are pressuring sponsors to pull out of the independently organized Fans Fest. Talk about a bunch of low lifes in the A’s organization. Manfred, are you listening?! It’s a con!

We have some unfortunate news and are disappointed to announce Drake's Brewery has pulled their sponsorship, only three days before Fans Fest. LDB/68’s have incurred expenses purchasing sponsor banners, a digital marketing package and had rented equipment to set up a Drakes beer booth but are now left with no Drakes beer to serve and banners we will have to be recreated and printed just days before the event. They were our first beer sponsor, and we were so thrilled to announce them. The announcement of their support and sponsorship of Fans’ Fest was very well received by the Oakland 68’s and Last Dive Bar’s combined 30k+ followers across social media platforms. Unfortunately to see that support not come to fruition is very, very disheartening. These fans don’t deserve another beloved “community favorite” turning their backs on them.

@DavidAmoyal Ive had a similar experience as an introvert who dealt with bad social anxiety for years.Went to a work event last night that I would before avoid & had a great time. Had a date last week and was told I was an awesome conversationalist,1 of the best compliments Ive ever received.

Worked a lot on myself this year, this month has been the best I ever had with in person human connections, takes work when you are an introvert like me, but so worth effort
I send my best to anyone who feels lonely, there is a real stigma in admitting it- but many feel it
