Great result for Norfolk Juniors yesterday evening. We came 2nd in the inter-county division 2 event. Well done to all who played. Our star player was Benjie scoring 26 points. @ECFSchools

@Chessplay73 My son decided to stop playing chess about 3 years ago aged 12. No pressure put on him to carry on, this Feb he decided to play in a tournament again and hasn't looked back.

My son (9) decided recently he no longer wants to go to chess tournaments. He won a rake of trophies and has said ‘I don’t want any to do it anymore’. I tried gentle persuasion, to no avail, so sitting back and hoping he comes back in the future. 🤷‍♂️
