@TheBritLad Picking up close to 2100 seats? WOW. I thought the USA was jacked up with their bloated congress.
That is the problem right there. Too many chiefs, not enough Indians.

@Skint_Eastwood1 Google says we are the world won a grammy, but he didn’t win it himself. Also says it’s a postumus kind of “sir” knighthood

Ricky Gervais Roasts Bob Geldof Live on BBC… Then Gets Hit With a Brutal Grammy Clapback
Gervais was asked about going to the Grammys and casually replied that it was enough effort just getting dressed up for The One Show.
He then turned to Bob Geldof and delivered the roast:
“I usually get accused of being scruffy on telly, but I knew Bob was on, so the pressure’s off.” 😂
Bob didn’t hold back and fired back:
“Hilarious hey? He’s a comedian. Grammy nominated, by the way. Some people on this couch have a Grammy already.”
Ricky’s response:
“Do you really? Oh… that is annoying. That is annoying. That is annoying.”

Left handed people existing breaks a rule in evolution that nobody can explain
Only about 10% of the population is left handed and that number has stayed the same for 10,000 years
It never goes up and never goes down
Evolution isn't meant to work like that, traits spread because they are useful or die off because they aren't
Left handedness doesn't do either and stays the same percentage across every culture, country and population
They process fear differently and react faster to danger than right handed people
They are different neurologically and slightly overrepresented in certain criminal populations and significantly overrepresented among US presidents
The trait seems to produce extremes
Ancient cultures were afraid of them, the word "sinister" originates from the Latin word "sinistra" which means "left" or "on the left side"
10%
There's always 10%
Never more
It was decided that was the exact number needed in the population

@DoctorLemma A few years after this I was watching a bbc documentary that was using some library footage of Richmond Park from the 50s. Some wag in the studio had put the ‘feeenton! Fenton!’ In the background. Made me chuckle.

In 2011, a quiet walk in London’s Richmond Park turned into internet history when a black Labrador named Fenton spotted a massive herd of red deer. The dog took off, chasing the animals across a road and causing a stampede that stopped traffic. His owner was filmed running helplessly far behind him.
Interestingly, the dog had previously been given up by the charity Guide Dogs for the Blind because he was deemed "unsuitable" for service.
