i think this is a great example of why the pitt has lost its audience. it marketed itself as a ensemble medical drama and in s1, it managed to deliver that. but s2 is so much smaller and strangled by its conceit. it’s unwillingness to develop any character besides robby hurts it.

Notice how the strengths you're pointing out were strongest with Roxie and the nurse episode. both of who got dedicated screentime

@pittintheyuri It’s a fascinating look at the US healthcare system and its impact on both staff and patients. It helps foster empathy and understanding for both. It’s one of the few shows who seems to try for a large degree of authenticity.
Maybe you should just watch a different show.
