Just left Tesco. Handwritten note on the windscreen of my patrol car. '£100 fine for shopping on duty'. If only I could tell the person who wrote it that I have just spent the last 7 hours at the sudden death of a baby. I'd bought a sandwich. We're not robots. #BeKind #WoundUp

We've been told today to remove our #ThinBlueLine patches from our body armour as it may cause offence. I will not be removing mine & my staff won't either. Us bobbies all know what that patch means, and we remember our colleagues who made the ultimate sacrifice. ❤️🇬🇧

@Brick_Cop @metpoliceuk It was nice BC wasn't it, was, being the operative word. Something has to give, the country isn't the country it was. Not saying arm us all, but meeting lethal force with a taser or baton in 2024 is insane. Our colleague is lucky taser worked & deserves a medal for her bravery.
