@NorthernAndrew_ Mental preparation, meditation etc. This book was helpful to me leading up to it. If this is the first birth, become familiar with what to expect - The Business of Being Born documentary for example. Make plans with your midwife for unexpected complications.

@md_free85 What a legend! Both of you! I’ve heard hands and knees is super beneficial.

@NorthernAndrew_ My wife has had all 5 of our babies at home all natural. I have been the only midwife for four of those. Just do it, the first one is the hardest, on hands and knees seems to be the easiest way, and when contraction get about every five minutes apart the baby is almost here.
