No question Ayling had a stinker tonight up against Hadji Wright, but after being one of our consistent players all season, I have to just shake my head that half my Twitter feed is declaring he’s rubbish, not good enough or needs dropping. One bad game.

He gave each group giant garbage bags and told us to go around the training complex collecting ALL THE TRASH we could find. We spent about an hour picking up garbage, and when we came back, he gave us a speech, saying that what we had just done was the job of many people who work hard to afford a ticket to our stadium every Sunday. He told us we owed those people respect, and that’s why we had to give our best on the pitch."

Visited my childhood home today. Lived here from 1980-2000. There were just a few houses on the road growing up. Today there’s a Meijer across the street. Someday this will be a strip mall. I guess you really can’t go home.
