This is very important news and should not go unnoticed. Until now, when speaking with developers or companies about RWA, the preferred development network was often Polygon. This was not necessarily due to superior technical capabilities, but rather because of the ease provided by having a tokenization standard such as ERC-3643. Today, those limitations are being addressed. This development introduces a framework that, over time, can become a preferred standard and significantly simplify the commercial and technical decision to build on Cardano. Welcome, CIP-0113. Well done @Cardano_CF 🏆
Cardano Foundation@Cardano_CF

Cardano just got programmable tokens at scale. With CIP-0113, token issuers now have a standard to enforce compliance logic directly to native Cardano assets. The framework is modular, open source, and live on the Preview testnet. Learn more: cardanofoundation.org/blog/programma…

y'all gonna go quiet once treasury votes are done (same as last year), and nobody gonna use your dingo node cause you're literally just gonna finish check list to sort out treasury/legal and move onto another piece of tech you can use to drain more treasury, lel, gl to y'all
KtorZ@_KtorZ_

@bajuzki It's your call. Our stance as software engineers working on the problem for more than a year, and on Cardano for 8+ years is that, it does. Note that the Amaru budget isn't only about conformance, but also integrations and the ecosystem around it, from which stems use-cases.

ASY 🐱 | Cardano SPO | TSUNAGI
For anyone interested in the technical side: TSUNAGI served a block to a live preview relay using the full Node-to-Node stack. Sequence observed in logs: Handshake → ChainSync FindIntersect → RollBackward → RollForward → BlockFetch RequestRange → StartBatch → Block → BatchDone Key proof lines: • FindIntersect result=found • bf_rx=1 (relay requested block) • bf_tx=3 (StartBatch + Block + BatchDone) • served_header=true • served_block=true Proof captured from the node logs during the propagation test.

ASY 🐱 | Cardano SPO | TSUNAGI
🚀 TSUNAGI Propagation Milestone Achieved Today our Zig-built node TSUNAGI successfully served a block to a live Cardano preview relay using the full Node-to-Node protocol stack. Handshake → ChainSync → RollForward → BlockFetch → BatchDone Logs confirm: • FindIntersect = found • BlockFetch RequestRange • StartBatch / BatchDone • served_header = true • served_block = true A Zig implementation acting as a real Cardano peer. Not a simulation. Not a parser. A node. Next phase: • continuous propagation • historical ancestry coverage • light-node mode • operator tooling (JP-friendly) #Cardano #Zig #Cardanonode #Tsunagi

Just sucessfully bridged USDC → USDCx from Ethereum to Cardano without using the IOG UI, just raw smart contract calls from my own code. 12 USDC in, 12 USDCx out, ~25 min, zero fees. On-chain tag itsdave_ada embedded as proof. Firstly, I'd like to say.. credit to IOG and all involved, this shows it's completely open and anybody can do this. Secondly it took a few attempts, and thirdly, lets celebrate USDCx on Cardano, there's been a lot of drama but also it's evident a lot of hard work has gone into this. So a post of appreciation to all involved. Now I can sleep. Approve etherscan.io/tx/0xb205688e0… Deposit (12 USDC): etherscan.io/tx/0x98cdf3b32… Tag (itsdave_ada): etherscan.io/tx/0x5f254a811… Cardano Address (mainnet) where it landed. cardanoscan.io/address/addr1q…

If the fees are extortionate for the community with the USDCx integration when fees are enabled. Providing everything is permissionless, if anybody wants to team up with me on building a new UI with reduced fees that directs the same fees back into the Cardano treasury of course with enough to facilitate it's operation. Let me know. I'm ready.

Will this save our DeFi scenery?
Circle@circle

USDCx on @Cardano, a USDC-backed stablecoin with seamless access to crosschain USDC liquidity, is now available via Circle xReserve. With USDCx, enterprises and end users can power payments, lending, trading, borrowing, liquidity provision, and more using a highly liquid stablecoin. Supported at launch by Cardano DeFi apps @liqwidfinance, @MinswapDEX, and @SundaeSwap. Key benefits: ✅USDCx is 1:1 backed by USDC held in xReserve ✅Fully interoperable with USDC across supported chains ✅Trust minimized with no third-party bridges required **For the first 10 days, IOG will be covering all costs for bridging USDC to USDCx on Cardano, helping early adopters get started without fees or friction.** Learn more: circle.com/blog/usdcx-on-…

@JaromirTesar The NCL only matters so much when the price of ADA is low. That’s why the DeFi Kernel is so important. Fix Cardano’s DeFi -> Value of ADA increases -> More projects can be funded with the same NCL

It’s not about how much we invest overall, but how well we choose which projects get funded. Debates about the NCL miss the point. Both sides have valid concerns. Cardano only needs a high NCL because too many funds are misallocated. Keep NCL low and raise it when necessary.

@Northern_ADA @__fallen_icarus A lot of people have "started thinking about it", using IBC and other protocols, not many of them have had IO(x) come out in force to call them stupid and their idea not worth implementing. Also, my idea didn't even necessarily require a bridge, just a data network secured by L1

This was a very biased review. I would encourage anyone reading this to actually go to the Github discussion and decide for yourself if the "opposition struggles". You can ask an AI to summarize the debate for you; it will give you a much more unbiased perspective.

@adamKDean @__fallen_icarus But then you’re just building a sovereign chain with a bridge. Better option would be to spin up a substrate base partner chain , swap out a few pallets to make EUTXO / Plutus compatible. Have SPO’s secure it. Tx pipe started thinking about it. github.com/txpipe/griffin

I've been advocating for Cardano:Cardano sidechains or partner chains for 5+ years. If I could use the software as it sits today but get a 4x performance boost "safely" without the additional complexity and drawbacks of Leios (paying for failed txns anyone?) then I could think of myriad use cases that work similar to a Hydra head for supply and logistics chains where you want long term data availability and access without the fragility of state channels that publish regular snapshots to the L1. A single chain likely won't make a noticeable impact, 1k of them would against current L1 (which is why Leios and Tachys both have their place)

@adamKDean @__fallen_icarus Just to clarify I don’t think what’s being proposed makes sense, I’m fine with who’s proposing it. Ask yourself the following question. If this was sat in the Cardano dev toolkit today: Who would use it? What use case requires it? Does it increase L1 traffic?

@Northern_ADA @__fallen_icarus Leios wasn't perfect as first proposed, Peras wasn't perfect as first proposed. There's a big difference between "needs work before it's useful" and "don't build this cause it wasn't invented here"

@adamKDean @__fallen_icarus We’ve spent the last five years building tools in fact there’s a graveyard of GitHub repos to prove it. The focus should be on building useful stuff. I’m happy to see these guys still in the community and wanting to build. If I personally thought it made sense I’d support it.

Crazy. We actually have USDCx live on Cardano mainnet. They weren’t kidding when they said before the end of Feb. It’s just the first glimpse and I believe they’re still testing but it’s live.

@__fallen_icarus I see the value of partner chains as bringing something new like Midnight or a compatibility layer for example EVM. I’d rather see WT, PNSol, Philip K, Kevin H building something that’s needed.

@Northern_ADA I raised the same concern in my comments in the discussion. IMHO most partner chains will likely not use this.

Cardano has a lot of visible work: launches, announcements, debates, big ideas. But a healthy ecosystem also depends on the unglamorous work that almost nobody sees, the editing, review cycles, cleanup, coordination, and relentless attention to detail that turns rough drafts into something the community can actually build on. This year, a huge amount of that load has been carried by Robert Phair (@rphair). He’s spent countless hours moving the CIP process forward: editing, reviewing, nudging, fixing typos, making commits, and doing whatever was needed to keep proposals progressing. It’s thankless work, and most people won’t even know his name; yet it is the foundation of the entire ecosystem. If you care about Cardano maturing, you should care about the people doing this kind of stewardship. Robert is one of those rare contributors who shows up consistently, does the hard parts, and rarely asks for anything. He deserves real recognition for the impact he’s had.
