I did not expect this post to get this much attention, but I clearly explained it badly and annoyed some people, with reason. I am not cheering for people to pay more for cheap things, I order cheap Chinese crap from Temu too. The Chinese car line was also badly phrased. I work in automotive, so it came from frustration with how much pressure European industry is under. My point is that Europe cannot keep allowing everything to be undercut by ultra-cheap direct imports and pretend there is no long-term cost. Cheap now does not always mean cheap for us later. I just want Europe to stay strong and competitive, that’s it.

I don’t understand why people are mad at this, if anything it should be much more than 3€. Please tariff Chinese cars next.

It’s sad how you guys don’t understand how transfer works. The issue with Rashford isn’t the £30M transfer fee… it’s the salary. Barca can’t afford to pay a bench player wages close to £325k-per-week. Gordon on the other hand is younger, cheaper on wages, and would walk straight into the starting XI. That’s why they’d rather go for him. At the end of the day it’s not about names, it’s about wage structure and balance. I hope this helps. 👍
