Oh trust me, locals don't take to protesting. Locals make transplants' lives a living hell until they leave. In fact, transplants have often been found in forums, telling other transplants to get Montana plates as fast as possible after moving here because locals vandalize cars and homes frequently of these people if they see out of state plates. One of the biggest complaints you'll see if you look it up, is how unfriendly the locals are to out-of-staters lol.
