@scottcwheeler Happy to see Alex Huang getting a look before he heads to Harvard, he has been a standout at the last two predators dev camps after a really strong year in the Q. Underrated prospect.

@ABC also, diet soda and deodorant with aluminum are perfectly safe, despite a lot of non-scientific appeals to state otherwise. Live your lives, people. There's precious little to enjoy in the world, so if you find something, grip it as hard as you can.

Drinking up to five cups of coffee a day is safe for most adults, and regular coffee consumption may be linked to a lower risk of stroke, diabetes and heart failure, according to a new scientific statement from the American Heart Association. abcnews.link/7JFNqg5

I think when we look back, we'll see the 24-26 drafts as enough to warrant Kealty as a successful draft GM, especially given: -only one top 5 pick in 9 years -only 4 picks in the top 15 -several late round hits (Evangelista, Ufko, Stastney, maybe Fink)

@AlexDaugherty1 I don’t see how he can start in NSH. 1. There’s an obvious logjam in the bottom six 2. He looked “good,” not “great” in the OHL. Nothing suggests he’s kicking the door down

A new rule will allow one 19-year-old to play in the AHL this season. Brady Martin is the top candidate to take that spot, but what should the Predators do? Start him in Milwaukee? Or start him in Nashville? Weighing the options here: tennessean.com/story/sports/n…

@AngryPredsFan I know people loved that navy blue Toronto maple predators third and clamor for its return but I like the yellow so much more. That said, this team has a long history of weak unis

Not that those are like the greatest uniforms ever or anything, I’m never gonna be a fan of yellow as the primary colour of a jersey, but at least they used to have enough navy to break it up

Highlights of a random preds game from 2016 hit my youtube recommended videos for some reason and my god they need to bring the navy helmets back. What a downgrade all the yellow is

@hankgreen What is it with hockey fans needing to go out of their way to dump on every other sport. Can we also squeeze in the Gregory Campbell killing a penalty with a broken leg gif, too?

@MarkLazerus Regardless of the World Cup, the tides are turning in the US. Where I live (south of Nashville,) the amount of kids playing soccer after age 10 is about twice the amount playing baseball or basketball . MLS is gaining traction every year.

The stakes of the World Cup have made this incredible drama. I've been watching almost every game, and enjoying it thoroughly. But without those stakes? The incessant flopping and the sketchy-as-hell officiating make the sport a tough sell long-term to people not raised in it.

@Kingrich321 Like, the game has grown and will continue to do so. MLS is a multiplier on that timeline. The league gets stronger every year in spite of the endless punchlines from condescending gatekeeper dorks

@Kingrich321 It’s wild to me as a fan that played when I was a kid (80s/90s) and now coaches club soccer. US soccer has come so far, the kids that play for me love our local MLS team and go to the games, ultimately it’s critical for continued growth, but SO MANY actively root for it to fail

I’ve learned this week the people who hate MLS, don’t really know how MLS actually works. They’ll say they do, explain, and it’ll still be wrong. And will then say you work for the league and then block you.

If I'm Chris MacFarland and I'm still on a kick to sign guys he helped acquire, I'd take a swing again at Nick Blankenburg. @EvolvingHockey model has him projected at $1.45m for a year, which is an easy deal IMO. @AFPAnalytics how does he look with y'all?
