@DiscussingFilm I'm actually glad it didn't work out! Maeve's story wrapped up so beautifully when she lost her powers taking down Soldier Boy. Bringing her back for the final season would just feel like fan service and ruin her happy ending✊

It was a good series that didnt flinch from the 4th wall breaking of the comic or being its own genre. But "How dare a woman is shown as strong and juxtaposed with Hulk"?

i’m not understanding the disconnect on this discourse. these are meant to be the same outfit from the same point in the timeline. her lekku and headpiece are exactly the same. Dave Filoni updated her look in Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi to make it more age appropriate and practical. a child shouldn’t be on a battlefield wearing a tube top and mini skirt. her outfit should actually protect and cover her body. Hot Toys already made the updated live action Ahsoka look too, so it doesn’t even make sense that they made this figure. this character is 14 years old. if you’re defending this costume design or this figure’s exaggerated body you’re insane.

@naMnaSYt I actually think I’m one of the few that doesn’t see an issue with the airbending. She was too stubborn to be able to pick it up. This shows that she’s like come to terms she’s been pushed she’s been beaten down. She understands it now

this is where I see the mary sue complaint now whole season she was getting washed but suddenly she can airbend after having her bending taken away and can negate Amon's bloodbending with no waterbending but Aang couldnt negate Yakone, who was significantly weaker than Amon

@RGangstalicious You know the non bending air acolytes are likely earth/water/fire citizens as well. Air citizens don’t exist as every air citizen was an air bender and if I remember correctly… all air citizens got wiped out in the 100 years war

Will always question why they gave airbending to random earth kingdom citizens over the nonbender air acolytes who actually tried to keep the culture alive. They effectively sealed Aang's fate as the last air nomad cause even Tenzin had to adapt to the new airnation

This is just awful writing that breaks so many established rules. Also why does she struggle the most with air bending when the avatar always struggles the most with the element opposite of the nation they’re born in? She should’ve been struggling with fire.
