"People say there's no value on course, I can assure you there is!"" @JWhite73866 has his say on the 'betting without' market available on racecourses...

Low sun and Mick Fitzgerald explains the problems that it can cause: "Imagine that you are on a motorbike going at 40 mph, juggling two machetes, heading towards a cliff and you push down on the brake, but you're wearing flippers...that's what it's like....."

As a result of @HexhamRaces abandonment, no 4m chase today. The next meeting is 5 and a bumper. The 4m chase around Hexham is unique, invigorating and should be rescheduled for then. The only other 4m chase was abandoned in November. I have spoken to today’s sponsor @bkracing123 and he is happy to sponsor this race. There is precedence with Bangor rescheduling its North Wales National only last month. Make it happen @TByrneBHA . Sure trainers from today would support @lucindavrussell @petescu @CWilliamsRacing @NGRichardsRace @MHammondRacing @ColtherdRacing @garyjrutherford @LambdenRacing .

Greenock shaped me. It was where I was born and grew up, and it gave me the values and education to make something of myself. I could have chosen anywhere to stand, but as I always say it matters most what your roots are. So it had to be Inverclyde. greenocktelegraph.co.uk/news/25934674.…
