@kiwitalkz I'll be eager to see what they tease us with when the time is right. If they do work on a new Metroid game the first questions many fans will ask themselves is what has Nintendo/ Retro taken from the feedback and reactions of Beyond. Fingers crossed 🤞

Despite patches being needed for Metroid Prime 4 I am beginning to think we are never going to see any. Maybe Nintendo/Retro just want to put this game behind them or out of respect for Tanabe, they will leave it be. All I know is if Metroid Prime 5 happens they will need to do something radical and they will need to conjure up that Metroid Prime 1 attitude of "middle finger to the haters we will prove you wrong" energy to prove they have still got it (which I certainly think they do.)

As an American of Cuban descent, I always believed it would be Ronald Reagan who would one day free Cuba. But it now appears that Donald Trump will be the one who finally breaks the chains of communism on the island. I have never been to Cuba. Out of respect for my parents, and because I never wanted to give one dollar to that communist regime. I only wish my mother were still alive to witness what now feels inevitable. One day soon, when Cuba is finally free, I will return to the place where she grew up as a child and spread her ashes beneath the tree she always remembered. I will keep that promise.

If Trump drops Venezuela, Iran and Cuba in one term, and they come through the other side better than before, then it will be very hard to argue that he has not been one of the greatest presidents in American history if not the greatest after Washington.

@Stealth40k Koei Tecmo didn't publish Pokopia so it's also hard to know how big of a pie slice it got. Granted Koei only published Hyrule Warriors in Japan so this is kind of the norm for other studios to publish for them with these games.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity sold over 3 million units in 4 days, so I believe that's still Koei Tecmo's fastest selling game at launch. Either way, Pokemon Pokopia isn't going anywhere. I really think it could become an ongoing series.

Valve is by far the biggest threat to Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft. The Steam ecosystem completely dwarfs any of the console manufacturers ecosystems and PC gaming is growing at an unprecedented rate and Steam will only become even more dominant over the next decade when China becomes one of the top dogs in the game industry. If Steam Machine was reasonably priced (no way it will be) it would be a serious thorn in Sony's side. Sony has a lifeline in PS5 being the best place to play GTA 6 temporarily, it's no surprise Sony is pulling back on releasing first party games on PC, it's their biggest threat. Nintendo is okay for now because its the gaming hub for families and especially local multiplayer and they have Mario & Pokemon but that will only help for so long. The next generation are growing up on Fortnite, Roblox and Minecraft. Nintendo's walled garden is both their biggest blessing and biggest curse as it creates FOMO but there's a huge barrier to entry as there are many countries in the world where you can't even get a Switch legally (hence why piracy for Nintendo games is so high) Interesting times ahead.

@SYACVG Correct me if I'm wrong but Omega Force only worked on Dragon Quest Builders 2, the first one was made by Square Enix Creative. I wonder how that worked behind the scenes. Did devs from SE hop over to Omega Force?

Voter-ID is going to be implemented before the 2026 election, because it’s a direct threat to NATSEC. Let the Dems/MSM squeal all they want. Who cares. And before anyone says “dangerous precedent the Dems will use it next time they are in power”, y’all don’t seem to get it. There’s not gonna be a “next time” for the Dems. With voter-ID implemented, the Dems will never win a Presidential election or majorities in Congress ever again, and their party will face extinction. In addition, they have been caught cheating in elections via flooding our nation with millions of illegals and letting them vote, the whole treason thing with Russiagate, Covid, USAID, fraud, embezzlement, sedition, etc This is the battle for the Republic. When we get voter-ID, it’s over. The Dems’ illusion will be unraveled, and their reign will come to an end. Trump is going to win this war with the Dems decisively here and now, and he is going to do it by proving to the public that the Dems are cheating in elections. It must be done. @KirPinkFury Koei-Tecmo is the biggest winner here. They need new heavy hitters and using the Dragon Quest Builders design for a pokemon game is genius as the game loop is great for the female audience and Pokemon is a much better skin for that than dragon quest.

Nintendo really underestimated the success of Pokopia. But that bolds well for Koei-Tecmo. I see Pokopia as a series now.
