Thought this might be the case for some. I know wonderful dedicated and hardworking specialist nurses who will be effected by this. It’s an utter disgrace. Those at the top of band 7 have narrowly missed this too. No wonder people are leaving in droves.

Remember the saying ‘jumpers for goalposts’? As we move towards October, It’s now more apt to say ‘jumpers so you can have something to eat…’

@ClinLeadWBM @Ummar24 An OT colleague and I were trying to get it on the activity timetable on our spinal injuries unit - they got a bit scared about shooting indoors but it’s getting there!

@NpsyN1 @Ummar24 You’re not wrong. I learned archery as the sport for my Duke of Edinburgh award many moons ago and have to say I loved it!

Axe throwing was more therapeutic than I thought. Maybe we need to consider it in IAPT @ClinLeadWBM 👀

@ClinLeadWBM @Ummar24 I’d say both - staff would love it - it’s very calming particularly when shooting outdoors - and a great activity for a team building away day!

@NielsDetert Makes you wonder on the motivations of the people at Ofgem who came up with the 3 month schedule when all the information pointed towards increasing rises and not decreases

@NpsyN1 The ‘cap’ has ended up protecting energy company profits rather than peoples’ energy costs

I thought the Ofgem strategy of adopting 3 monthly price caps, rather than 6 monthly ones allowed a quicker reduction in rates when oil/gas prices fall? Optimistic- as all It’s done is to allow rises every 3 months - people at Ofgem need sacking…

@ClinLeadWBM @Ummar24 Might I suggest archery? There is something very primitively engaging about shooting an arrow and the practice involves a lot of mindful awareness and mindful letting go.

Hypnosis was more effective than PMR in reducing test anxiety among medical college students. Hypnosis could modify attentional bias toward threatening stimuli, but PMR could not. #MedTwitter #MedEd #FOAMed #medstudenttwitter #anxiety

@EdinPublishing Hypnosis could be used as an adjunct to attentional bias modification training (Prof Elaine Fox, Oxford Uni) to increase efficacy in helping people with depression/anxiety become desensitised to curing in to negative emotional stimuli
