Turns out it would have cost like $5K to deploy and several dollars for users to play a single game. On a chain that was supposed to be 'cheap' since it was a derivative of Solana. I told my friends it was crap and they missed out on an easy 5x.

One of the funniest things you can do as a tech guy in web3 is actually look under the covers of a new / upcoming product. I can remember at least three times I've done this and the results were so funny that they stuck around in my head forever.

traditional clipping is where someone takes long form content, chops it up for short form, adds cuts, sounds, zooms etc to make it engaging and posts. they typically join a campaign on clipping platforms where the creator they’re clipping for pays them $X per 1000 views you could rewrite the caption from another clip, but socials have similarity detection so often than not your posts reach will be throttled due to the video sig clipping now also has a more general use where you can setup UGC style content engines to get clippers to make variations of different content styles based off of packs you provide

.@dexscreener is a pretty scammy business. basically when you launch a new coin you have to pay them $300 to get an image, and links on your coin's page. your first response is well -- i just wont pay them. but you have to because anyone can pay the $300 and upload anything and the process of reclaiming the page is tedious and annoying. what often happens is scammers will pay dexscreener for popular coins and point the website to a phising website that drains your wallet. theres a lot of ways to fix this but dexscreener does nothing because they keep getting paid.
