Pied Flycatcher, one of several seen in the Wyre Forest, 27/4. Also of note, Redstart and Tree Pipit, but no sign of Wood Warbler. @NuneatonBirder @WorcsWT

Lovely walk around the wonderful Wyre Forest yesterday in the company of @NuneatonBirder. Pearl-bordered Fritillary into double figures at the usual hotspot along the trackbed beyond Eric’s bench. @WestMbs_99 @WorcsWT @savebutterflies

Despite the ban on hedge cutting from March 1st., this was ongoing a few days ago. When I asked them, I was told that they had procured a 'very short' extension for broadband reasons. I didn't see any cable laying and there are very few houses along that road.

The UK is one of the most nature depleted countries on 🌍 yet a 🧱is too much of a stretch for Labour to save our swifts. This symbolic 🎥 is for those who care that the existence of swifts is on the line.I hate campaigning but I’ll never give up on the birds. If you care, share🙏

A walk to the Valve Tower at Draycote Water this morning with @NuneatonBirder produced excellent views of two recently-arrived Red-breasted Merganser and distant Great Northern Diver. @STWDraycote @Draycotebirding

Excellent visit to Draycote Water today in the good company of @NuneatonBirder. The Grey Phalarope showed well in Toft Bay but we failed to find the drake Lesser Scaup reported mid-morning. Also of note, eight Black Tern. @STWDraycote @Draycotebirding

Water bills will go up 30% in the next few years... while water companies keep filling our rivers and seas with sewage! 🤮 Add your name to demand money-grabbing companies fix their own mess before trying to get more money from us. 38d.gs/homg
