We have nothing to hold us together as a society. The people with all of the power are totalitarians and can't tolerate sharing space with people who are not like them. Movies and TV (except Paramount) have sided with them. Religion has been marginalized. What's left? I don't even think sports can do it. I walk around my very liberal town and people are so nice to me. They say hello on the street. They're helpful. But if they knew who I was online they would avoid me like the plague. I find all of this very odd...and I don't know what their solution will be beyond re-education camps and gulags.

Again, you are the one with bad priorities. Yeah, a huge issue, as is more broadly prioritizing internal status battles over external credibility. I understand why so many public health professionals stayed quiet while a radical fringe argued that protests during a pandemic were great, actually. But it was disastrous.

Lets keep in mind Caitlin didnt ask for this She’s never said she was the face of the league. She’s always showed respect for those who came before her. She could squash this league like a bug if she started her own league. When she was asked to do NBA 3pt contest she said she wanted to do WNBA one 1st. She has fought for players salaries. But she is by far the most popular player in the league by every metric possible. Was it disrespectful to past tennis players when Serena and Venus instantly became faces of women’s tennis or Tiger with golf?
