BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS

The Coalition on Homelessness is another grifting organization amidst the constellation of orgs that feed off our city’s bloated budgets.

Every day, our coordinated, multiagency teams are out in communities helping get people off the street and indoors. Thanks to that work, we are seeing real progress, with the number of tents citywide dropping to the lowest point we’ve seen since before the pandemic. Our work is far from done, and we will continue to be relentless in tackling the behavioral health and homelessness crisis from all angles, especially in the streets. missionlocal.org/2025/07/san-fr…

Two of the board’s most conservative supervisors, who call themselves ‘moderates,’ attempted to kill a measure that would have called on the mayor to stop evicting unhoused families from city shelters after 90 days. 48hills.org/2025/04/fielde…

2 weeks ago we launched a 30 day mobile triage pilot to improve street conditions on 6th street. Here is a memo outlining the progress, early learnings, and data collected. What worked well: improved street conditions, cross-department collaboration, service placements and arrests What didn’t work as well: ran out of shelter / treatment bed capacity daily, struggled with journey home completions, displacement We’ll report back in 2 weeks at the conclusion of the 30 day pilot with learnings and suggested next steps.
