People are confused that the man who racially abused a footballer on live tv then fucked his own teammates girlfriend finds this brand of politics appealing? Lmao believe who people are the first time they show you, everything else will make sense 👍🏽

Yeah, @Nigel_Farage wouldn’t want this video to be shared over and over of him lavishing poodle-like praise on Donald Trump. He’s trying to disassociate from him, so every time it’s shared it ruins that.

Trump has long claimed Mueller's report completely exonerated him, which it did not. Mueller's report into Russian interference in the 2016 election, and his campaign's links with figures in Moscow, uncovered extensive criminal activity. It produced 37 indictments, seven guilty pleas or convictions and evidence that Trump obstructed justice on multiple occasions. It found evidence that Russia engaged in extensive attacks on the US election system in 2016, and found "numerous links between the Russian government and the Trump campaign". In it, Mueller, serving as special counsel, explicitly stated that his report "does not exonerate" the president, but acknowledged that Department of Justice policy is that a sitting president could not be indicted. mirror.co.uk/news/politics/…

Bishop of Willesden on the Iftar : "The public iftar in Trafalgar Square was not an act of cultural imposition, nor a signal of division. It was, rather, a moment of hospitality: an invitation to share in the breaking of the fast during Ramadan, extended by one community to the wider public. It was open, generous and peaceful. It reflected something profoundly British; the instinct to gather, to mark significant moments together, and to make space in our common life for the traditions that shape our neighbours. "To suggest that such an event is somehow threatening risks misunderstanding both the nature of religious expression and the character of our national life. Religious freedom in this country has never meant the privatisation of belief. It has meant the opposite: the right of individuals and communities to live out their faith openly, visibly and without fear. That principle applies as much to Muslims observing Ramadan as it does to Christians celebrating Easter, Jews marking Passover, Hindus celebrating Diwali, or Sikhs observing Vaisakhi." churchofengland.org/media/news-and…
Fraser Nelson@FraserNelson

So far, Christian leaders have been absent from a debate, led by politicians, about the place of faith in public life. So good to see the Bishop of Kirkstall give his perspective.

Why we buy gas from Norway: 1/ Thatcher privatised North Sea gas extraction in 1982. 2/ Private companies plundered our reserves while Norway’s 100% publicly owned Statoil managed theirs strategically. 3/ North Sea oil & gas peaked in 1999 and U.K reserves are now 90% gone.

Britain has paid Norway over £100 billion for gas since 2021. For gas they’re drilling in the North Sea, the same sea Ed Miliband has banned new drilling in on the British side. Madness.

I expect every Republican who was outraged at people for celebrating Charlie Kirk’s death to immediately condemn Trump for saying “I’m glad he’s dead” about Robert Mueller. This is disgusting.

That’s nonsense because many of the people who get what he calls welfare do in fact Work. And much of this total is paid to pensioners in return for their national insurance and they would certainly not consider it welfare. But it’s fake statistics like these that can influence peoples beliefs.
Matthew Elliott@matthew_elliott

The Government will collect £331bn in income tax this year, and spend £333bn on welfare. In other words, we now spend more on people not working than we raise from those who do. And the cost? Debt per person has risen from £11.5k in 2000 (inflation adjusted) to over £41k today.

This is an excellent comparison from Andy. It highlights the crucial difference in approach by these two far-right populist leaders. For my money, Reform wins because it's alphabetically superior and will always appear first in the lists of ReParties. 🤪

Reform UK and Restore Britain - two grifts run by vindictive old men, playing the role of selfless saviour, but only ultimately serving their own personal wealth above all else.

I've always found this incredible useful. An easy guide to exactly how much sh*t your local water company is in. Southern Water customer, 27% of your bill it doing nothing but paying interest on their stinking pile of debt. Thames Water, 28%, Anglian Water, 24% and on, and on, and on.......... weownit.org.uk/get-involved/p…

Of course she has. Priti Patel was ordered back from an official trip in Africa by Theresa May and had to resign after it came out that she had a secret unauthorised meeting with Israeli politicians, including Benjamin Netanyahu. People were tracking her plane.
Lowkey@Lowkey0nline

Priti Patel blocked the FBI from questioning Prince Andrew over his relationship with Israeli asset Jeffrey Epstein. Patel also had 13 secret meetings with Israeli government figures, including Netanyahu, to discuss the funneling of UK public funds to the Israeli army.
